Well... It's November 4th, and I am finally back! :) Wilma took a good chunk outa my a$$, and left me powerless. I am happy to say that I was well prepared, and we made it out alive and heathy. Even though my property is damaged, I am very thankful that it is livable and everything can be fixed in time. I'm hoping everyone else that lives here in South Florida is ok and made it out ok. It will be some time before everything around here gets back to normal, but things are getting better every day. Wilma has reminded everyone here in South Florida how powerful a direct hit can be. I hope this is a lesson learned for people to be more prepared, and to have more respect for Mother Nature.

Oh yeah...

I'll be at the game this weekend and hope that everyone there with me will be as loud as possible. Lets Go! Lets Go! Get Loud People!

GO PHINS!!!

man just imagine if we would have been hit by a upper tier cat. 3 or 4, this place would be destroyed...i'm dipping if we have one any worse than this again

Glad to hear you made it through okay..........Quick question are there military personnel done their?

Hey glad you and your family is safe. I like your attitude as far as damage compared to tragic loss. Thats the first thing that crossed my mind. I consider myself to be VERY fortunate too. Congrats on the power situation. :drinkers:

Yes... They've been helping out with the food, water and ice. Also the Army core of engeneers are here putting tarps on roofs and stuff. I'm not sure how much longer they'll be here, but I know our curfew was lifted a few days ago.

yeah....just got my power back yesterday.......worst hurricane i've ever been through.

Congrats as well dude. Wilma spared me major damage, except for a busted air compressor for the a/c unit. Yea, the one I just spent a grand on two months ago. I'm trying to fight the company whose telling me that hurricane damage is not covered on the warantee. Well anyway, welcome back. Nice ride by the way. Looks like you spent a pretty penny on it.

Oh yeah my friend... After a VERY long week of no power, chain saws, generators, melting ice, warm beer, and PB&J sandwiches, I'm ready for my Dolphins to kick some butt! I can't wait to lose my voice Sunday!

I'm happy to say the most I lost was power and some sleep... Girlfriend's Dad's boat took a beating, but that can be fixed...

I'll be there too man! If I can only find a ticket. Know anyone that'll sell an extra one?
