All the smack you and I have talked back and forth over the past year or whenever, I personally congratulate you and your team for going 3-0 so far. I have nothing but respect for how well they have played.

We Dolphins fans could only hope to have a season that has as much promise as the Jets.

And yes I am being serious.

Hey let's hand them the Lombardi Trophy on Tuesday at noon, sound good to you?

Before the season began I talked about how much I liked Mark Sanchez but was concerned about his transition to the NFL after he couldn't get ahead of John David Booty at USC. Now, I'm wondering why in the **** Pete Carroll was keeping this guy on the bench.

The only glaring flaw I see in Sanchez is that he runs a little carelessly with the football and he holds the ball down by his side often when looking down field. Today, that caused him to fumble the football when his from behind. He's gotta hold that ball up near his chest to reduce the risk of dropping the ball if he's hit from behind.

Thanks Phinz but there is a long way to go. 3-0 is nice but there is a long way to go, I'm thrilled w/ where we are but we still have to get alot better.

JCane: He is a little reckless w/ the football and he's going to fumble. I have been expecting it to happen, he's lucky he crossed the GL on that TD run b/c that would have been another fumble.

Overall he's been great though, you can't ask for anything more out of a rookie. What I love the most is he has such a short memory, when bad plays happen he gets over them right away.

My biggest concern right now is the running game and OL, 2 things I wasn't concerned w/ coming into this year but I expect we'll be OK in those areas soon enough.

Your running game is what would worry me most Junc. Since the first 2 quarters of the Texans games, the Jets have'nt been running the ball the way Ryan would have liked. Yesterday you got abit lucky with the Titans ****ing up on a kick and a punt return, especially the second one where it totally shifted the momentum back in your favour.

But good teams make there own luck. But as you said, still some improvement to be done. Not a bad thing to say when your 3-0.

Look whats happening at USC now, maybe he was saying that because he knew that he could win with Sanchez this year, he was scared of what he had on the roster if Mark left.

Actually we were shut down early against Houston and busted a few big runs late to make te running game look better than it was. I am still confident and think it will get better but it does concern me a little.

Football is a game of breaks, we were also up 14-0 and in Titans territory and we fumbled. That swung the momentum back in their favor and they didn't lose it until the muffed punt. Give our O credit though as they were shut down for 2+ qtrs and when we got the big turnover they scored a TD when all we needed was a FG to tie the game.

It's a long season. The bills were 4-0 last year. We all know how that worked out.

We don't know what will happen but I think it's pretty safe to say Hou, NE and Ten will be alot better than Seattle, Jax, oak and SL of '08. Those 4 teams combined to win 16 games all year last year.

We may pull a Buffalo and screw this up- I don't know? I feel pretty good and w/ our D and STs I think we'll have a great chance to win alot of games.

I was at the Pats - Falcons game so I only saw the highlights. Didn't the Titans rookie fumble 2 punts, both inside their 25? Did the Jets score TDs both times?

WTF is wrong with Fisher that he's kept that kid back there returning punts? He fumbled one last week too, didn't he? No wonder they're 0-3.

The Bills also didn't play a division game, and didn't play a tough schedule. This was suppose to be the hard part of the schedule for the Jets.

And also, the Bills didn't have a defense nearly as good as the Jets have this season.

No, he muffed a punt and the other one was on KR where Jason Trusnik layed a hit right on him knocking the ball loose.

I understand that totally. Hence my "so far" comment

You guys have 3 Super Bowls in 10 years yes? Those would suit me in my life as a fan for eternity. Give me one title, I don't care.

Going to be funny when you get humbled. You're opinions are just fanboy banter. You would think that the collapse after 8-3 last year you guys would learn to temper expectations. Houston gave you the game. Tennessee gave you the game with their fumblitis and Kerry Collins throws right to your players.

I watch every divisional game every Sunday. You don't have to talk up what happened because I saw it. Lol 'he laid a hit knocking the ball loose' Go away with that...We all saw the game stop trying to act like the Jets won it when Tennessee choked it away like their other two games. Ten handed the jets 2 td's but this guy acts like the jets took them lol.

I didn't talk up anything, it is what it is. Trusnik layed a hit on their KR and he fumbled, the PR he just completely muffed. That is exactly what happened nothing more nothing less.

How did the Texans give us the win? They got completely dominated... You are nothing more then a biased homer who tries to bring down divisional opponents with statements that aren't true. The Jets won these games because we were the better team, sure the Titans fumbled on ST 2 times, but the Jets fumbled on offense so does that mean we gave them a chance to get back into the game after we were dominating them?

We didn't even have our full defense playing, Sheppard, Strickland, and Pace were all out. We get Pace back in a week off of suspension with fresh legs. Sheppard should be playing this week as I don't think his injury was that bad. Strickland IDK when he'll be back, but he has done well as nickelback, the best nickel back we had since Ray Mickens IMO.

And good teams score TD when given the opportunity to score, Titans could of limited us to FG in those chances but couldn't, Mark made them pay with 2 TD passes.

But keep downplaying the Jets, keep saying they aren't good. Because I have seen how good your predictions are so far....
And this Jets team is not the same as last year, our team was conservative and Mangini was a terrible coach. They played not to lose and also guys got worn out, Rex rotates players in much better. We also have a 22 year old QB, who shouldn't get worn out like a 39 year old QB.
Rex is proven to be a way better coach than Mangini, he plays championship style football, at least on defense where he doesn't believe in prevent defenses which if you noticed all the great teams don't, the Giants, Steelers don't use prevent defenses you attack that is how you put teams away. Mangini didn't understand that and we let up comebacks.
