Well FH brethren & sisteren, good news; after 4 long months living here in St. Louis learning my new job, I'm finally coming home next week to WPB. This has been the hardest thing I've done in a LONG time being away from my wife & daughter, and 2 cats, and home, and my Dolphins, for so long.

Actually it may have been a blessing to miss most of this 1-15 season, those games were likely very hard to watch, and painful. But even when we lose, I want to see the games! Another killer was right when I got here to St. Louis our beloved FH went down for what? 2 months or something?

Sadly I'll miss my 17 y.o. daughter Lacey's first date tomorrow night. At least I don't get to scare the bejeebers out of the poor kid anyway.

Cool thing is I'll arrive a week from right about now, it is our 10th wedding anniversary that day (2/22) and my wife has NO idea I'll be arriving home for that. She thinks I'm not coming home for 4 more weeks. My daughter is helping me pull off the surprise, making sure Jacqui is at home (and no strange men there  when I arrive). I'm going to leave the car out of the garage and ring the door bell, Lacey will refuse to answer the door so Jacqui will be VERY surprised when she answers the door! It should be a nice 10th anniversary present for her.

Just wanted to share the good news with my favorite bunch of characters.

Good to be back home, huh!? :hi5:

Ahhhh, shoot, I only cooked for 5, now you have gone in did it, how am I going to explain to my wife your home!

Best wishes. Let us know how the surprise went, at least the parts you can talk about on a family board!

Thanks gang, it sure will be good to be back home! Only 5 more days till I get back! Thanks for all the well wishes.

Its funny all this time I thought Ft. Worth was further north towards Jacksonville, and then today I was going through my address book to send out news of me finally getting a job with Ameriprise Financial after 8 months of unemployment and I see we have three friends from Ft. Worth/ WPB area. I was like hey that is where Phins Rock is from! I have been there without even knowing it

Well gang I made it home a week ago last Friday, surprised the heck out of my wife on our 10th Anniversary. Came off perfectly! Took her to dinner and gave her a very nice gold & silver Cross with a couple small diamonds on it, she was thrilled. Been home 10 days now and sooo glad to be home! Now if I can just figure out how to make this job work out and start making some money, the all will be OK. Please keep that in your prayers for me.

Dude, I had no idea you were an hour and a half away from me for four months. I would definitely have suggested we hang out. Ah well ... glad you're home.
