Would you bring back Anthony Fasano on a decent contract
He was rated as the best run blocking TE by far
by Pro Footall Focus

Anthony Fasano, TEN, 88.1
Nick O'Leary, BUF, 83.1
Tyler Eifert, CIN, 77.9
Charles Clay, BUF, 77.6

His production was terrible but he might bring
some great run blocking at an affordable price

Sims is a good run blocker though, and can add in other ways. I think it would be a waste of a roster spot.

I guess it would be a consideration if Sims were to leave, maybe as a temporary placeholder, either way we still could use that seam threat mismatch TE in the draft though.

I suppose you're right. However, I don't see Sims demanding a huge contract, nor the market dictating one, either. He is more valuable to us than any other team... I would be disappointed if we don't retain him.

PFF overrated a lot of individual blocking personnel.

The Tenn. Titan's offensive line and TE were some of those, in that the Tackles and edge play in general received a lot of help. They played great as a unit under a complimentary scheme, but were the sum of their parts and not the other way around.

I agree, my thought is he would be the easiest of our FA to sign, but you just never know what happens once FA starts.

Not necessarily related to Sims but in general some of these teams still have so much money- could see a lot of contracts handed out and then a bunch of players getting cut down the road with the 'didnt live up to contract' comments.

no thats what simms is for if we get him back. sims is a good y te. Then we need to draft a move te

I would like to see Sims lose some weight. If so, I think he would keep his core strength, but be quicker and faster. IMO, it could really boost his career.
