After reading the hidden message from the PC and the PBP blog, I am really dissapointed in A.J. Feeley. He had a huge oppurtunity to make something of himself, and he just didn't step up. I still think he has the ability to be a good player in this league. Not that Saban has made a choice yet, but if he hasn't, then Feeley better let it all hang out Saturday night in Pittsburgh.

i think we're all a little dssappointed in him. Even his doubters were probably expecting more out of him then what we're seeing. which is really sad.

I have to agree with him. I watched him in Philadelphia, and i was impressed by his leadership and the way he ran the offense for his time there. I thought coming to START here was really a chance to prove he's a quality QB. But so far it doesn't look like it, we'll see

I agree. I was killed early in the off season when I posted that he should be living in Linehan's closet reading the playbook instead of going to Nasa with Heather (Zero gravity tests) and going to all the high profile partys with her. Maybe he did work, maybe he didn't? But he is running out of time if he didn't already!

Well the thing is, in Philadelphia A.J got some major fan support. Every time that McNabb showed hints of struggling the "A.J" chants rang from the stands, as the fans really loved him. In Miami i dont sense the same kind of atmosphere, half of us want him benched, cut, traded rather than to start. Maybe that's detrimental to him, but your right he should have studied this playbook more.

Yes, but let's just keep hoping. We have to. Maybe Ronnie and the unveiling of our complete offensive system and game planning in the real season will all help.

I'm not saying he did or didn't, but take a low profile and work your butt off and learn. yes I'm old school, and I really don't get todays players (the To's of the world) that need to be in the spotlight all the time!

Even 5 years later, it's tough to accept a QB in Marino's house.

it wasn't just phlly, the entire world was wondering why feeley wasn't getting more reconciliation for what he did during those 6 games. But andy reid knew damn well how good, (how bad) feeley was. When mcnabb went down in the playoffs, they put Koy detmer in over feeley. That was a statement right there.

Reid should have out Feely in. Detmer sucked it up. I'm just wondering of he thought Donovan could return, or if he really thought Detmer was better.

you mean throwing for 5 TDs and 5 INTs as a starter with a rating of about 72? Or the fact that he was no better than average in an offense he's played in since his days at Oregon?

At least we don't have to look at that horrible Feeley pic in your sig anymore.

I can't say I have really been impressed with anything about AJ Feeley, other than bagging Heather Mitts....I admire him for playing hurt a lot last year, but other than that what has he shown anybody? He is very inconsistent, makes a few good throws and then doesnt seem to have clue at times. I think we can do better with Gus in there.....and then next year look for the QB of the future.
