I personally want Weeden and you may or may not be correct about Tannehill, but you say we whiffed on Flynn who couldn't beat out JaMarcus at that great QB factory LSU, yet use Russell as an example of a bad player with good physical metrics. I'm pretty upset with the way this is being handled, but if you don't think that Flynn was discussed ad nauseum prior to Philbin agreeing and don't recall that we mostly agreed that we've now got the right guy to assess Flynn, the tea leaf alignment should give you your answer. You actually wanted Smith, someone who is not appreciably better than Moore but would be payed 4X as much? ... well no one is gonna be able to persuade you otherwise.
Garrard is a clusterfcuk I agree.. a waste of a signing when last week we probably could have gotten Jason Campbell instead. And if you had decided to stick around, you may not even have had to contend with Tannehill since Holmgren a guy who knows a little about pro QBs might well snatch him up at #4, so that would become moot. If it's not, and we take him, Mike Sherman, another guy who knows a little about QBs knows him best, so no disrespect, but 100 out of 100 times, I'll yield to his expertise over yours. :idk:
Anyway, I can roll with a lot of this perplexing **** , except for letting Winston slip through our hands, signing scrubs from the jest, signing Garrard to compete with a QB who, compared to Garrard, should have earned the starting role if it's just those 2. Tebow would be the deal-breaker for me, but unlike you, who I will take at your word and not expect to see around here again until or if we start winning , I would take a sabbatical instead of resign, since the team has always been in my blood and it's frequently darkest before the dawn. But enjoy the jets who whomever. Hasta luego amigo.
