Vickerson was a hard working, promising, young talent with a great attitude. Now because of a dirty coach teaching dirty technique, he may NEVER be the same again. There is no excuse for this kind of coaching... Alex Gibbs is a proven Cheap-Shot coach who the Falcons organization shoud be ashamed of. Where is that Falcons fan who came here and said he hope neither team sustained injury? He should be embarassed, ashamed, and pissed as well.

You can trace Gibbs coaching career by following the trail of blown out knees and damaged carreers... The league needs to quit looking the other way and do something about this guy. Suspend him, fine him, but don't let this unconscionable <deleted by mod> anymore :fire:

I don't know if this si the right place but its the best I can find from the Official Falcons website:
Q: How do I submit a complaint, comment or suggestion?
A: We appreciate the continued input we receive from our fans and welcome your feedback. You may send an e-mail to: feedback@fans.atlantafalcons.com or send written correspondence to: Fan Services - Atlanta Falcons, 4400 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, GA 30542
Also, I'm trying to find an email to the NFL league office to complain about Gibbs, anyone have it?

frackin..... dont hear that too often.

but what happened??? i didnt watch the entire preseason game.

I hope the fins submit the tape to the league office. I didn't see the game, but it sounds like an away for the play hit, and chop blocks are illegal now right?

I am totally with you on this position. This is a double blow for me, since I am a Michigan State guy. I really thought KV was gonna be starting by the end of the season. I don't know much about Gibbs' past, but if that stuff's true he's not the only guy. This **** happens too much because of flat-out dirty hits.

Dude, your totally right. Didn't the NFL make this illegal in the offseason? Gibbs techniques are 10 times more dangerous than that collar tie tackle they are giving out penelties for. There is no need for this to happen. Didn't someone post about this happening to someone else against Atlanta earlier this preseason?

Vickerson was chop blocked on the line by a Falcons o-lineman. Classic Broncos type o-line cheapshot... Even the Falcons announcers sounded embarrassed by it.

"Frack", its how they say <deleted by mod> on Battlestar Galactica... -Yes, I'm a nerd.

The Broncos and now Falcons have been getting away with these cheap tactics for years. Y something isnt done i have no idea.

According to the Herald, cut blocks are legal, chop blocks are not. Not quite sure what the difference is. But, the article states that replays show that it was a chop block.

The QB was running out of bounds, so trailing behind the play Vickerson was chop blocked and had his ACL torn.

absolutally agree with you!!! Cheap hits like that can ruin a young man's career.

Thats because the Falcons now have the Broncos O-Line coach, Alex Gibbs. The league needs to do something about Gibbs, make a huge frackin example out of him...

A cut block is simply taking out someone's knees. A chop block is when you take out someone's knees when they are engaged on another blocker.

Either way, I think it is dirty. This is the NFL. If you can't block someone straight up, you don't need to be in the league.

two things I wanted to point out....

1. everyone makes Alex Gibbs out to be this great O-Line coach, yet everywhere he goes, his guys are known as dirty players, somebody needs to put a stop to this...

2. the only positive that i can see from Kevin getting hurt is at least Manny Wright will get a chance to see a little bit of playing time now, so in two years they might be on the same page.

ill admit it, i knew exactly where you got the word "frack" from. its a damn good show. but i wasnt about to say it first on a football website. :couch:

and if he was chop blocked, who did it? i remember whatchign that no-huddle BS on NFL network seeing a guy just obviously dive on a guys legs, but i think they called it. (i feel ******ed, cus i cant remember if it was during the falcans game :( )

EDIT: i type to slow. i just read the posts before mine, and it sounds bad. and if it was illegal, i expect the NFL to do something about it.

I found this or anyone who wants to call or write the commissioners office, I'm calling right now:
