Im not buying the mccoy hype, fools gold incoming to the dolphins.

Quick question was he not the coach last year when Kyle Orton was at the helm and they had a pretty impressive running game and passing game! Enough with the bashing Give the new hire a chance before you trash the guy! Who was Sean Payton before he got hired?

really? this great denver defense u speak did a great job against new england in the playoffs eh? i think the patriots put up close to 50 points right? thats a great defense of effort. Also, tebow showed he can do more than what the denver coaches gave him credit for in the pittsburg game and it took john elway to step up and tell the coaches to cut him loose. If john elway believes what u believed he would not have named tebow his starting qb next year. Thats a hall of game quarter pointing tebow his starter next year, we havent even gone in the offseason yet and tebow is alrdy named the starter.
 
McCoy it is......lets just move on.....tired of hearing all the coaching possibilities for the past freakin month and the negative BS that went with it.

Being named the "Starter" for training camp doesnt necesarily mean he is going to to be the "Starter" once the season starts. All he said was he earned the "Right" to be the starting QB when training camp opens up.

As I have said, prowess as a coordinator may have nothing to do with ability as a head coach. Two completely different jobs requiring different skill sets.

Im not even going to reply to this post, try reading my post 100 more times and maybe just maybe u might understand my point.

The post clearly says tebow was handcuffed in the "regular season" and was "cut loose" in the playoffs so again, put your glasses on this time around.

mccarthy himself says that nonsense means nothing. He calls the plays because he wants one voice communicating and he wants to be the one. Philbin has play chart and he is the one who is setting up the offense every week for Mccarthy while he handles all the other stuff that comes with being HC.

THE CALLING PLAYS THANG IS CRAP. ITS OVERABUSED AND IT REALLY MEANS NOTHING WHEN YOUR THE HC!

point is, he seems to have the tony sparano mentality of coaching, be content with staying in the game and conservatism.
 
McCoy served on the Carolina coaching staff from 2000-2008. In 2000 they were 7-9; in 2001 they were 1-15; in 2002 they were 7-9; in 2003 they were 11-5 and NFC champions; 2004 they were 7-9; 2005 they were 11-5 with two playoff wins and one playoff loss; 2006 they were 8-8; 2007 they were 7-9; 2008 they were 12-4 with one playoff loss.

McCoy was offensive coordinator in Denver in 2009 - 2011. In 2009 Kyle Orton had a career year posting good numbers in all passing categories and the Broncos finished 8-8. In 2010 Orton and the Denver passing attack was ranked 7th in the NFL but the Broncos finished 4-12. In 2010 they revamped the offense to fit Tebow and eeked out an 8-8 record and had a big playoff win vs. Pittsburgh.

Perhaps there IS hope, but i'm not sure.
