I know it's one game, but Dante looked extremely confused every time he came to the line. I'm sure his grasp of the offense will improve but his throws were off as well. His style has changed, he doesn't scramble much anymore and that was a big part of his game.. And our D - if we can't stop Charlie Friggin Batch how are we going to stop Brady!!!

I think we're improved and heading in the right direction, but I think we are all guilty of overrating this team this year, fans and media alike.

What?? did you not see the pressure that was constantly in his face. Daunte did great. HE showed mobility, accuracy and some good understanding of the offense. There were plenty of playes where it could have been a sack but Daunte got rid of it just in time to make a play. Please dont be blind...

People, come on...let's not forget that last year we stomped all over Denver in the first game. How did things end up? If I remember correctly, the Broncos made it to the AFC championship and we had to win six in a row to finish with a winning record. I'm sure Bronco fans were screaming after the first game, "I can't believe they beat us with Gus Freakin' Frerotte."

It's easy to overreact after the first game. Give it a few weeks before we decide if DaUnte is an experiment gone bad.

im with you on that one, anyone who follows football know the season is 16 games long. we just played the super bowl champs and were leading in the fourth quarter. even ronnie played great, he had two tds on some tough runs. some people in this forum are clowns

My God, a few more of these and I'll be in therapy.

One game and he isnt the answer for this team. What happens if Joey starts next week and plays the same? We just keep going down the line? Lemon? Berlin? Vick?

Hey, we should start Cleo Lemon! :sidelol:

IT WAS THE FIRST GAME. DAMN SOME OF YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT PATIENCE EVEN IS..... damn vip is looking to be something i may have to get with all these post and its only been 1 game.

um is it the fact pittsburg has a great defensive scheme? is it the fact that he has no chemistry with his teammates, which will only improve when they play more games. is it the fact hes worried about his knee a bit, its in the back of his mind, is it the first time in a game situation in a while?

i dunno, all i know is ur not the answer for this website. go home.

Don't blame Donte

sure Culpepper, was... off, but don't blame him too much you guys are now suffering what Buffalo did last year, the work of Mike Mularkey.

I saw some pressure on Daunte, hey welcome to the NFL....but for the most part our OL did a good job of pass protection. They were times when Daunte held on the ball so long it seemed like an eternity..... why? he was waiting for our WR's to get open.

I'm really annoyed by fans like this. If you have a reason why you dont think CPEP is the answer, fine...I respect your opinion. But when you make the obvious points that everyone else saw AND those are your reasons....thats weak. Seriously man, your the fan that just hangs on snap by snap (which is even worse than game by game).
