The Dolphins have to cut all these players to get under the cap. In fact, it would appear nearly the entire league has to do exactly the same, with just a lone few franchises with actual breathing room cap-wise regardless of whether the new CBA deal is set.

Where are all these players going to go? It's not like they're going to get mega-deals anywhere else. Why wouldn't alot of these guys restructure, knowing how uncertain the landscapes of contracts are going to be as it stands?

Many players will be signing 1 yr deals because 2007 is still presently "uncapped" and that would allow them to be UFA in an "uncapped" yr......if the CBA extension gets done in the next few days (still a chance), then most of these players will end up signing long term deals.
