I'm not very optimistic about the team this year here's why

i couldn't have said it better my self, i don't care how good Henne looks in Practice, I have seen enough of him to say he will be nothing more then mediocre at best.
Offensive line by committee and Chad Henne enough said!

"But he went to the U".................................

sigh* im not very optimistic about our season because we wont sign a 400 lb lug who has zero motivation... really?
Sadly, that seems to be a common rationale on this board for picking up has-beens. Part of me thinks half this forum would be fully on board with talking Vinny Testaverde out of retirement just because of where he used to play.

Good reasoning lolololl

As much of a turn style as the INJURED Columbo was, I'd still take him over a 400 pound guy who might just croak on the field

Columbo graded out so badly last year because he was ridicuously injured all year. The guy played most of the year with one functioning arm and one functioning leg. IF HE'S HEALTHY he will be a fine stop gap at RT for us for a year or two. And if he sux or gets injured................................. move Carey back to RT and insert Jerry at RG. Done deal. People are making such a big deal about this, but it really makes sense.

Go look at the Cowboys boards, they're crying that they lost Columbo.

Oh you mean the ones with people who cry and complain about people who are just stating their own opinion. Does it hurt when that opinion isnt shared by yours?

Not at all, but don't come with weak sh*t like the OP. rookie head coach and GM? The guy doesn't even know what year it is

It's not solely on the RT position. It's their love of Cowboys castaways that makes them look brainless. Colombo is a turnstile grading 76th! Competition is fierce in the NFL and the gap that separates winning from losing is minute. A QB that won't listen to his receiver, Head coaches that can't coach, I kringe when I think of Colombo and Lydon Murtha blocking for Chad Henne. Anyway, we'll see what Henne and Ryan do soon enough. I think the team has improved from last year with Edds, Odrick, Pouncey and Gates, but hopefully Sparano and Daboll know what it takes to win and it's not dump offs.

The team has improved last year because of 3 players completely unproven in the nfl and another player who has a total of 1 career tackle in the bigs? hmmm......

Since 2007 and up until BEFORE the 2010 season these are the players who were ex-cowboys: Anthony Fasano, Procter, Joe Berger, Jason Ferguson, Akin Ayodele and Lousaka Polite

That's not including moves made last season. I don't know all of them but you guys make it sound like we just take all the garbage from them when in reality that's not true. A handful of players you can argue helped this team. While you may not be thrilled with these guys, they played a role for this team. If the team isn't going to make a big move at a position, yet they add a guy they trust, and know will work hard, and can be an improvement or to add depth, why all of the hate? We neevr break the bank for these guys.

well we moved carey to guard because Jerry wasnt getting the job done. if jerry was playing well we would not have moved him. so if we have to move him again once again a hole.

I know what year it is. It's the year before we get a new head coach and GM. We had a miracle season when Henne threw like 7 INT's and we won like 10 games by 3 points. After that, Sparano has had his A$$ handed to him, and he's had players under perform with no repercussion. The guy is a micromanaging line coach who does not let professionals in their position play to their capabilities.

The team quit on him in the last game against the Pats and if we string a couple of losses together, it'll get ugly fast. I hope we win, but I just don't think we've done what we needed to do this offseason.
