I agree. The #8 pick needs to be a WR or a pass-rusher; not a QB who will be holding the clipboard for two years.

Becaue Boss Ross told them to make Peyton their QB priority. My gut tells me that Ireland,Philbin,&Sherman didn't want Peyton, especially with the offensive system Philbin&Sherman will be installing, but the man who signs their paychecks wanted Peyton so they had to try and make it happen.

No O-lineman is a bigger signing than getting your quarterback that can actually make the plays to win big games........thats just not an accurate statement.
 
I would much rather sign Flynn over drafting Tannehill. I think WR or pass rush should be our focus at 8. If we don't get Flynn I would still rather get Weeden in the 2nd or 3rd despite his age because I feel he is more NFL ready than Tannehill.

Please don't argue the fact that Tannehill has a better chance to be a franchise guy because I know and agree with that, but I don't feel the risk is worthy of the 8th pick. We have other needs and can't reach on a QB.
 
so the coach and the general manager, and the offensive coordinator have so little pull, that we chase manning around, and than lowball flynn... the single guy who with two starts in the league is everybodys guy, but the owner?
