With our defense, i like our chances of beating NE. If our corners(other than vontae) show up and play, i think we have a shot. Tom has never been good under pressure and we have plenty of pressure to provide. If our line can rush some throws, our DBs better hold on to some ints. The D was the most exciting part of the fins last season and they only got better. I also think our O is underrated. Hopefully chad and the boys surprise some people.

i'm ready for this defense to start walking the walk instead of just talking the talk...you think your a top 5 and shut down defense show me by shutting down a high powered offense like the steelers d can...don't let me see 15 play drives for the opposition against quality football teams where we can't get off the field on 3rd downs like the baltimore game last year...don't just beat up on the cupcake offenses punch the good ones in the mouth also...

til then its all hype...
 
this first game is all about turnovers. if we can force them, we will win. if not than its up to the pats to not make any mistakes.

i want vontae to really emerge this year. we all know he is great, but until he gets some picks, he will continue to go unnoticed by most. my friend is a falcons fan and he insists that brent grimes is 10x better than vontae. what he doesnt realize is how much grimes was targeted compared to vontae
 
brent grimes is a very underrated player...there's no doubt about that...

If we can do this on D, we should have a monster year.
 
I wanna see our D line/pass rush put pressure on Brady all day.
 
This defense has the chance to be great this year! Our dline is straight NASTY, we have 3 previous pro-bowl LBs, a pro-bowl caliber CB and a top 15 CB opposite him. If Clemons or Jones step it up this defense should be top 5. Im pumped and feel very secure about this defense for years to come
 
This Pat offensive is average when you put pressure on Brady....Its time for our D to do just that, put pressure on him make him throw quick and make plays that get you off the field......keep these guys under 24 points and we can win this thing........

The key is putting pressure on him with your 4 base guys. If you try to blitz him he can make you pay, but if you consistently win when undermanned he folds like a cheap chair. Like most QBs.

I think the D can pull it off. Can't wait for Monday.
