Ok ppl enough of this talk about the draft... this is what is gonna happen because it needs to happen:
With the first pick of the 2008 nfl draft the miami dolphins select:
Jake Long
-ok im sorry but if you try to say someone else YOU ARE WRONG!
With the first pick of the 2nd round the miami dolphins select:
Best cb available
-if anyone tries to say best qb available.. you should jump off a cliff..

ok here is my reasoning...We absolutely NEED to draft based on need with these 2 picks.. and yes we have a lot of needs but these 2 are the biggest... we needed a LT for the longest time so lets make it short and go long... the dude is a monster.. look at the stats.. look at the film... LOOK AT HIM... hes a beast.. we need him... book it

With the second pick we need to adress the cb position with whoever is sitting there.. there is so much great talent at the position in this draft so we need to grab which ever one falls into our laps at this spot... and someone might say well since there is so much talent lets just grab one later.. no SHUT UP.. now right here grab the best.. and yes take more later.. we dont just need one 2 or 3 sounds better... i think these 2 needs give us the best chance to win now and in the future..

now go ahead and argue with me, but im sorry your wrong.. chris long is great 2 but we dont NEED him... and if you say dmac or m.ryan... I don't agree with you.

One great thing about opinions is that they are yours; no one elses; and neither RIGHT or WRONG that being said, Robert Gallery was a can't miss mauler that the Raiders drafted early and he didn't turn out to be what they thought...I agree with the CB position but MY OPINION is Chris Long #1...(doesn't make me wrong or stupid, it makes me an individual b/c I don't agree with you)

I agree with the Jake Long, but I don't want to rule out a QB with the second pick. Sparano and Parcells will draft whoever has the most talent with that pick according to team needs and if it so happens to be a QB then expect it to happen.

nope wrong... robert gallery only went that high because of his incredible performance at the combine.. he ran a hell of a 40 (i forget what it was) but if he didnt he wouldnt of been held in such a high regard

still drafted high, so i'm not really wrong...it takes more than an impressive combine to be drafted so high...i'm sure the Raiders did their due diligence when scouting Mr. Gallery rather than just the combine...if not, they should all be fired and forced to work 40 hours a week for

I dont think they will use the #32 on a CB when there are tons to be had later in the draft like Scandrick,Patrck Lee in the 4th and there are good ones in the 6th as well. Oline has to be addressed with 2 of the first 3 picks. And Nicks is a stud. Carey,Nicks,Satele,Smiley,Long Now thats a pretty good Oline But I like your thinking and Im with you there is no way we can take a QB at 32 unless we trade with say JAX for their 2 3rd rounders then I think we take Brohm at 32 if hes there. But good points and I hope they take at least 2 CB in this draft.

No Gallery went that high more because of his dominance in college. He had one of the best college careers at LT ever. I believe he only gave up one sack his entire career. And pushing your opinion on people and telling them to shut up is not the best approach. Even though I am starting to agree with you in thinking Jake Long maybe the best pick at #1.

Why would you say wrong, because it is the most logical and smart decision for us in the draft?

Face it, we have **** for offensive line. We have been complaining for the past 5 years for us to get an offensive line and we finally have the chance to add a final piece.

Some say that he can't perform at left tackle? He proved in college that he could. Say that when we get him he can't, Who gives a damn stick him at right tackle and use a solid starter like Vernon at left tackle. With a team that has as many needs as we do we cannot go best player available. Chris Long may be a hell of a defensive lineman but why get rid of Jason Taylor if he still has it in him? We do not need a quarterback. Give John beck a chance, thats why he was drafted.

gallery was never a true tackle.. he started college as a tight end... besides you cannot compare current players being drafted to the busts of the past... or else ppl would say "never draft a qb so high cuz ryan leaf was a bust".. there are always your random complete busts.. but its pretty rare to have a robert gallery again with the number one pick

just like Staley last year. he ran like a 4.70 or something n become a mid 1st to late 1st talent material somehow. w e saw how he worked out this year.
