all i have to say is what a story....i really hope he makes this team or any team in the nfl for that matter...good luck to him

I hope if he is not 100% he gets PUP'd or IR'd and given a year to heal and to come up to speed. To say nothing of his story, he had CRAZY statistics at Tulsa. What did he have, over 30 YPC average one year? Insane.

Best bet to have any future with the Dolphins is to be on IR this season or keep him on the Practice squad all year and hope no one snatches him.

With him recovering from an ACL tear, and the fact that there a lot of receivers(not to mention they are all healthy with the exception of Camarillo) on the roster. He is a VERY long shot to make this roster this season, so bets option is IR or PS.

You have to think Ginn, Bess and Turner are locks to be on the opening day roster. Camarillo may also be on the opening day roster, or he may be placed on PUP to start the season. Either way, that is four roster spots pretty much already locked up. Hartline is also probably very close to being a lock. Most teams seem to only carry 5 receivers, so that could be your five receivers on opening day. If they decide to keep 6, Marion would have to beat out such players as Armstrong and Wilford.

I don't think Marion has a Bess-like future where he makes the team as an UDFA.

Adversity builds sucess so this guy has a shot plus what he has going is the WR is a position of need for the phins. He has put hi self in a position to suceed!

Nubs....You forgot about London
Yes I did forget him. I don't know how I could have.

My original thought was that Camarillo would be placed on PUP to start the season and we would carry five receivers on the 53 man roster on opening day:

1. Ginn
2. Bess
3. London
4. Turner
5. Hartline

When Camarillo comes back, he would be the sixth receiver. So, my original point still stands, very hard for Marion to have a shot at making the final 53. A year on IR or the PS is best bet if you want him to have a future with the Dolphins.

On the surface it certainly looks that way, but a lot can, and often does change during TC if he's healthy enough to participate. This kid, like White has a winner's mentality and like Bess has demonstrated the intestinal fortitude to overcome adversity so I wouldn't count him out.

I'm definately rooting hard for him too. I read that article the other day. That's definately the type of story that you'd like to see with a happy ending. He could've given up at anytime but he kept working hard & never gave up. What a story, gr8 character.
