Steve Spurrier announces he's resigning but not retiring and no slew of threads asking if he's taking the Dolphins job? Not that I think he's a good fit, but typically it's a situation that would insight rumors around here.

He sucks. I mean he was good as the Gators coach but he S_U_C_K_E_D with Redskins.

Step 1: Notices there is no thread to annoy everyone with silly coaching option

Step 2: Creates new thread about the lack of an annoying thread.

Conspiracy theorist would ask why he didn't just wait until the end of the season to resign? What's changed in recent weeks that would lead him to exit now? Could the firing of Joe Philbin have sparked Spurrier's desire to give the NFL one more shot? The time lines of the two events and Dolphin fans love for a good rumor just seemed like a match made in Finheaven.

he quit on the team because of their record...my read at least...if that teams undefeated or 1 loss do you think he walks away right now? doubt it

Such a **** way to go out, especially for someone of his stature

A. I was wondering when this thread would pop up.
B. Something tells me there's going to be another shoe to drop with the Spurrier resignation.
