i'm sick of the media putting the dolphins at the bottom

I don't post on these forums very often, however, not a day goes by without reading the news and various threads. With all the recent speculation by various writers as to how well the Dolphins will do, I've come to the possible conclusion I'm out of my mind. From 30th to 31st, I never thought I'd live to see the day my beloved Dolphins would be thought so low of. We are all under the assumption the defense is equal or better to years prior, and the offense has to be somewhat upgraded with a healthy D-Bo and the emergence of welker. Granted, we lost Ears(no complaints), Surtain, Knight, and Freeman, I still don't see how this team is terrible enough to merit a 30th ranking. This was a team that a year and a half ago was another Super Bowl condender. I understand the team has a new coaching staff and a new offensive coordinator to impliment new plays and such, but I still don't understand the lack of love for the Fins. Are we really that bad?
 
Dude, were going to be at the bottom until we prove otherwise. Were not gonna win more than 5-6 games at most this season. Relax. Time will be better up ahead. We are rebuilding were not gonna be on a top 25 list for a little while. We are one of the worst teams right now in the NFL. If you can justify us being rated higher, then go ahead but what have we proven so far. Tell me what have we proven. You see how pissed off Nick Saban is, is that the attitude of a coach that has a winning team no. SO chill and drink some beer, better times are ahead.

Please tell me how we only win 5 or 6 games. There is no way we are as bad personell wise as last year. And we are definitely better coached this year. At worst we are a 500 team. You guys put way to much emphasis on the preseason. If gus doesn't throw a bunch of int for touchdowns were 8 and 8. I don't think were as bad as a bunch of you guys think. Our defense is going to be alot better than you think also. wait and ye shall see.......
 
Actually it was us who put us the bottom ;)

Things will change. All we can do is be patient.
 
you sleep in the bed you make...and Pornstache and Chris' brother were very good at making a messy bed...Papa Wayne gave 'em too long and now we the fans are paying for it, and believe me, so is Papa.
 
I think the main reason for the low rankings is our QB and O-line woes...Until we prove them wrong we will be on the low end...Maybe it can motivate the troops even more than they already are.
 
im sick of them putting us down too, sheesh its not like we went out and lost 12 games last year.

oh wait.
 
The media did not make us so bad, get over it! Until we win, that's what we get!

Calm down...you have to remember were Miami finished last year. They have done nothing yet to prove they deserve any better. In 5 days they can prove there doubters wrong, but in the mean time they are what they are, a 4-12 football team
 
guys allow me to shine some light upon my fellow dolphin fans. First, we have a bad playoff record or losing in the 1st or 2nd rd prior to our demise and we havent beat anybody of any merit. this i beleive will come to a end soon. Second the fan attendence is being labeled as worst in the nfl so that is why the media hate us and besides how often do you hear espn rip dallas or the jets and not have a fan call in and raise hell. if dolphin fans really banded together and fill dolphin stadium then the media would show some love . that being said most of it is erned on the field. i get pissed every time i turn on the radio but there is not many choices in sports talk radio in my area so i am force to listen.:cool:

Here's how we only win 5 or 6 games.

* We don't have a quarterback. Thus, our receivers will not get the ball enough to put up a lot of points.

* There is a difference between an offensive line being better versus being good. Right now, our offensive line is better. Next year, it could be good.

* I don't see any of our defensive tackles as able to absorb double-teams like Timbo, Gardener, or Chester did. I think power running teams will do damage between the tackles.

* Our secondary is going to be a problem all year. I am alarmed about the play of our safeties, and I don't trust Reggie Howard.

All of these problems are fixable with time and draft picks.
