I'm watching NFL Networks coverage of Senior Bowl practices, and this kid is making one big time throw after another. I'm thinking he won't be around for our 2nd round pick.

Also, Anthony Spencer, wow. Anyone know if he's a 3-4 OLB? Or just a 4-3 speed rushing DE? That kid can get to the QB. Levi Brown looks good until Spencer lines up in front of him.
 
Spencer measured 6'2 1/2" 266 (at the Senior Bowl practice) and is a passrushing DE. Stanton has decent size at 6'3" 226 and a pretty good arm to go with athleticism.

I really like Stanton, he has a big arm and is very athletic
 
Who is the Number 80 kid from LSU. He had a great Bowl game and seemed to be catching everyting yesterday?
 
I'm just ticked that you get to watch the Senior Bowl practices while I'm stuck at work. :tantrum:

I didn't see much of Stanton this year, but there's been a lot of discussion on the board lately about this guy. I'll definitely have to do some research on him.
 
Stanton might not be around for our pick in the second round after the combine and the senior bowl. But that is who I think we should draft.

Sorry bro. I don't see patients on thursdays, because this is when I'm supposed to be doing my office notes and insurance billing. As you can guess, I've done neither yet today. :lol:

I haven't seen much of Stanton this year either. But I'll tell you what, Everyone talks of size and athleticism, but it was his good arm strength and excellent accuracy that got me today. During seven on sevens today, he was making some big time throws and delivering the ball only where the WR's could catch it. The DBs couldn't make a play on any of his passes. I hope he brings it on Saturday, though it may kill our chances of getting him in the second round.

I've already seen reports saying he's probably moved up into the first round.
 
you guys see that Brian Leonard lost some weight? he wants to be a HB in the NFL and if any team wants him as their HB he would do well, I want him as our FB. the guy is sick, just look at him jump over this defender and outrace everyone for 70 or so yards, http://youtube.com/watch?v=tXJRmKMHTsE

false.

Stanton has the IDEAL NFL QB size and they said Spencer is proving every day he is goingn to be an OLB in the 3-4.
