I'm so annoyed of people saying that C-Pep sucks without Moss

I was one of the people who was in full support of getting C-Pep over Brees and by the end of the season I am 100% it will have been the better choice. BUT I'm so annoyed of people saying that C-Pep sucks without Moss. So i decided to do some research and found this:

C-Peps Numbers in his MVP season in 2004:
4717 yards 39 TDs 11 INTs 4 Lost Fumbles (9 Total)

Moss' numbers in 2004:
767 yards 13 TDs

Looks like Moss wasnt as crazy as people thought in his MVP year. AND if Moss is so good why cant he do s**t in Oakland. Moss has gotten double covered in every game after his breakout year in 1998 so dont tell me its that. And dont tell me its the QB cuz everyones argument is that Moss makes the QB that much better. Well that doesnt seem to be the case. Hopefully this will shut up some of the haters.
 
Yeah your right Moss should have had alot more TD'S and yardage even with double and triple coverage that teams always had on him.
 
I had Moss that year on my fantasy team. He was out with a hamstring for a couple of games and when he came back he was only a decoy for the last three. That is the year Burlison stepped up and the reason why Minny veiwed Moss as expendable. DC put most of those numbers up with guys like Burlison, Taylor and Robinson. I'll take our WR core over that any day of the week. DC does not suck and people say he can't read defenses. I guarantee that Welker is not the first or second read and he seemed to get the ball to him. DC will be thought of as a Top tier QB by the end of the year and many people already know he is.
 
I agree with you man. They equally benefitted from each other. I mean look at Moss in Oakland now, he hasn't done a whole lot. Just give it time, that's the only way you will be able to shove it up those people's *****. I can't wait till Pep explodes because I have so much crow to serve, it isn't even funny.
 
Culpepper will be fine this year without Moss.

Exactly.. I dont get this Moss stuff with Cpep...Moss has been non existent in Oakland.
 
With Moss he shined. Without him he's struggled. Time will tell. Let's hope

if your willing to talk so much about how great he is going to be then i hope your man enough to come back here and say your wrong if you turn out to be.then we will see whos eating crow.
 
He most definately doesn't suck without Moss. But I could see where he could potentially "stink" not using Moss.

I will be able to admit that I was wrong but history tells me that I won't be. That is what I base my opinion on. It's not too crazy to believe that.

i know what history says and you may be right, but how long are we going to make excuses for him.
what will it take for people to see that he isnt as good as some feel?
