I'm sorry but i don't want this guy as HC....

If the players respond to a coach showing that much emotion, I'll take it. The players respect that man and tell him to let it go. I'd love to have a guy that has the players respect like that. It worked for Dick Vermiel.
 
A guy standing in a locker room with a bunch of guys around him, listening intently and buying into his message. Yeah, wouldn't want that. Lets get Art Shell, he wears cool hats!
 
lol that guy sure can tlk up a mean pre-game wow that has me lacin em up again....
 
Alright, I watched both videos posted. The first one with Gailey talks about heart. Heart is what gets you back up. It is what makes you line up after your tired and beat up. I liked it a lot. His expression was not weak. It builds character in his team. And it makes people respect a man who can reveal his heart.

The second speech was all about getting pumped up. It is the kind of talk that you hear from defenses like the Baltimore Ravens. It gets the adrenaline flowing. It makes for a great PRE-game speech. Keep that in mind when you watch them. Gailey's was a POST-game speech. There is a big difference.

I think those men make a good pairing as coaches.
