when he produces on a consistent basis I will be the first to sing Ronnie's praises but one great game and two below par games do not a great back make. I have never said Ronnie was a bad back but this one game does not make him a great back. Is Chad Pennington a great qb all of a sudden because he completed 17 out of 20 passes?

Guess all the raw talent he has shown since being drafted isn't enough. The coaches finally give him a chance to make some plays this year, he does it, and people still aren't convinced. I'm beginning to think you and WV are hopeless......

You know I actually like what Wv brings to this board. I like diversity, not everyone thinks alike , but to compare myself and him in ideas and posts is really way off. I am not a reactionary fan that fluctuates from week to week with thier opinion. I have said the same thing about Ronnie Brown from the day we drafted him. He is a good back, dont think he will ever be a great back. Im sure u have all the pro bowl accolades and league rushing titles to prove me wrong on this. He has broke a 1000 yards once in three seasons and he may become the player u think he is, but to this point he still has alot to prove. I stick to my guns and if Im wrong I will admit it but one game does not prove me wrong. At the end of the year I hope I can look back and say damn Ronnie Brown is a great back and he has proved it, but lets have that happen before we annoint him. There are better backs out there, that have proven to be better. Ronnie is on the cusp of becoming a top 10 back and maybe more but to this is 24th in the NFL in rushing behind some team's second running back.
