Watching him against Florida, and I also saw him last week, he is sweet, also hes got a heart. And he is tough. I like this guy he would also allow us to get a LT in the first round.

I saw an ESPN special on him, and that ranch that his family owns dedicated to helping orphans + abused children. Talk about heart.

His Sophmore year was great... although he hasn't stayed healthy since... this should drop him hopefully to 2 or 3rd round.. and you're right, we could snatch a LT in the 1st, and then a promising QB in the 2nd or 3rd. Good stuff.

He is a coachable, down to Earth kind of player - much like Chambers. Saban loves these types of players that he can mold... I'll be the second person on this bandwagon! lol.... Leinhart.. overrated. How could you NOT look good with two stud WR's and Bush in the backfield. Give me a break.

shut up

No, you get to shut up, that was uncalled for, and just earned you 72 hours off. Come back when you are willing to discuss football matters AND you are willing to be civil to others. WB3

Wow, he fired on that slant, if that ball is thrown any different, it's not a td.

Seems like every college quarterback who wins a game or two and looks pretty good gets to sit on the "_____ to Miami bandwagon" nowadays.

God, is our QB situation really that bad?

Do you deny that Miami needs somebody to learn the system behind Gus? Are you counting on a trade for a veteran QB or for the team to keep AJ even though he is overpaid and for him to eventually figure out whatever he hasn't so far?

I've actually been talking well about him for a while. I like what I have been seeing from him, and I think that there is an advantage in that he will probably be a later round pickup due to his injury concern (and by Crowder, we know that is not the biggest deal in Saban's drafting) I think he would be a cool pickup, he has had a lot of good games when he has been healthy. The guy is good, and we do have a horrible QB situation. We need to draft someone, I am not saying get him in the first round, but he looks like he would be an awesome later round pickup. He also plays in a prostyle offense.

I don't deny that we've got a space open...though it is possible (tho unlikely) that Sage Rosenfels could actually turn out decent in this offense, considering it really plays to the strengths he showed in college (vertical passing, lots of QB movement, with a strong-armed gunner needed).

Still, all of this QB hunting among the college ranks and willingness to accept even the lowliest of low college QBs (guys who no doubt will be 6th or 7th round picks) as our "future" at the position, it is a testament to our current QB talent.

If we had better QB play over the last year or so, our expectations for a college QB would be higher. People would find themselves saying Leinart or Young or Jacobs, and that is probably about it...otherwise they wouldn't care all that much who the "developmental" guy is because he's just a clipboard holder anyway. As things stand now we've got an army of bandwagons that include Matt Leinart, Omar Jacobs, Vince Young, Sam Keller, Jay Cutler, Drew Stanton, Chris Leak, D.J. Shockley, Charlie Whitehurst, Bruce Gradkowski, Reggie McNeal, Marcus Vick, Steve Pinegar, Drew Tate, Brian Brohm, Chad Henne, and now Brodie Croyle...and I'm sure I've missed probably about 5 more guys. Got news for ya, if each of these guys declared for the draft, a good many of them will go in the 6th or 7th round...if at all. Yet they've got a bandwagon for becoming the dolphins future at the position.

Brodie is a gutsy and talented player. I'm not sure where he projects due to all the injuries.

Just make sure the Tide hangs on. Looks like my Trojans are in big trouble and I couldn't tolerate that combined with a miracle Florida comeback.

I like Brodie, but right now I like McNeal and Whitehurst as first day guys and Stanton or Quinn if they come out as possible first rounders.
