Ive scoured the internet, looked over every inch of sports illustrated.com, and the only real thing I can find about Miami's play on Sunday on a national level is junk about how the Patriots aren't contenders anymore and how they blew it. Nothing about how dominating our defense was, or how our offense came back in the second quarter. Nothing about how we've won 5 out of 6 recently.

All I've seen is rumors about Saban leaving. That's pretty much it.

If anyone's found any decent article not written by the suntimes, herald or PBP that actually talk about how great we've been playing lately, please respond and let me know. Maybe I'm not seeing them, but if after a 21-0 shutout against "The Dynasty" isnt enough to get press coverage, I don't know what is.

Maybe if we did it completely on fire. And jumping through hoola hoops

What would it have mattered if we'd have beat the Pats 62 - 0? Or 100 -0? We are all but mathematically elimnated from the playoffs. Last Sunday didn't matter. It was nice. Sure, it was nice, for pride's sake, against a division rival. So what? In the end, New England is playoff bound and Miami is homeward bound barring the single greatest Christmas present a Dolfan can get- a miracle.

Since when do other cities give a crap about another team that isn't in the playoff race? If Miami were a serious contender for a wildcard spot, then maybe they get the press you expect.

Its a shame that playing great football and decimating an opponent means absolutely nothing if your eliminated from the playoffs.

i understand. try to find anything about the jets falling out of the playoff race this week.

fact is it doesnt matter if the pats blow a game or 2, the media expects the pats in the playoffs and losing to a team with a losing record is not that big a deal to them.

We are still not too far removed from being 1-6 and considered amongst the worst in the league.

seriously. on espn i never see any highlights from the game. it doesn't matter if we won 100-0, they still wouldnt be showing any phins highlights.

Why would you give national attention to an under .500 team.

We dont deserve attention man. I loved how we beat them down but lets be honest, we're still 6-7

Watch NFL total access, they gave us props

too bad we lost to the Jags or we wouldv'e had actully been a serious contender.

I'm not really sure what you expect to read ....

Outside of PHINS local coverage ... nobody cares until you are a winner ... period - end of story ... and we have not earned that to date ...

The resurgence is only a 'feel good story' to those outside of southern FL ...

Well the Zach hit on Heath Evans was the number 1 play in JACKED UP at MNF Halftime.

Also, the "Fastest 3 Minutes" that Berman does, he included our win over the Pats and praised JT (some say we're never mentioned on this segment).

I don't see the logic in saying we're disrespected. We are STILL only 6-7.

I understand the critics not caring about teams with losing records but
if that is the case why do the Packers consistently make the headlines.
If Favre wins a game then he makes the headlines.
