Yeah he did do a very good job yesterday managing the game which i give him alot of credit for, but.... Dont forget he knows the Pats D like the back of his own hand. He knows where the pressure is going to be comming from, he knows where the holes are in the passing game and he knows that the Pats D is kinda up there in football years. I also am sure he knows alot about the Pats that other people dont. Over the years i have also kept tabs on the Jets because they are in the same division and its a regular acurance where Pennington has a game that makes you just watch in awe. But its not on a consistant basis, however if he does this kind of perfomance a few times more, i will do something that i only had nightmares about over the last 8 or 9 years, i dont believe im saying this, i will be wearing(swallow) a Chad Pennington (former Jets Quarterback) Jersey.

Well Well Well, nice to have you Eric Mangini!

I don't care how well he knows the Pats, they are still hard to beat. Give the man some credit, he was excellent yesterday and if the ground game is working he's going to be really effective.

You may regret having said this.

Post noted and book:d-day:marked.

Chad is the best QB we have had here since Jay Fielder. He is a great leader and what we need until Henne is ready to take over. Chad's arm has been plenty strong enough that that hasn't been a problem. I have been slightly disappionted in his accuracy, he seems to never hit players in stride so they can run after the catch but other than that he is fine.

Follow that line of thinking... Would it not stand to be true that the Pats know ALOT ABOUT HIM AS WELL? Do you not think that they can devise ways of attacking him?

Give him some credit for making the most of what the Pats gave him and for playing mistake free football... He deserves it.

Pressure is almost always determined by the blitz package the defense is running in a 3-4 scheme. How could he know where it is coming from unless he knows what plays the defense is calling?

Chad deserves alot of credit, he played within himself, didnt try and do to much and displayed the attributes we all talked about when he came here. If he continues to play close to the way he played yesterday I dont care if Henne has to wait another couple of years. The thing I look at is the professional that he is and all the positives that Henne will learn from him. Excellent game Chad, you deserve props for this one.

P.S. Talk about wearing a Chad jersey, at work we have 5 people who have agreed if Chad plays like this against San Diego we are buying the "Chad" jersey. We just want to make sure it wasnt just one game.

Sorry? Why? I mean it isn't like your opinion is more important then any of ours right? You think that, others will have different thoughts.

he played real good and i give him credit but the truth is he is not a franchies QB I am glad we have him on the team but we will be a lot better once Henne gets the hang of it and takes over (next year i hope) we will get to use Ted ginn alot more and play to his strength. but for now Pennington will do fine give the guy some props he helped us beat the patriots.

I'm not sure ANY QB could have played better than Pennington did yesterday....and against a team that was in the superbowl last season.

Add in these simple facts...the offensive system is new....the QB himself is new to the team...the main rushers are both coming off injuries...the coaching staff is new...appx 45 teammates are new.

Seems to me...some here are just unhappy no matter what.

To my Jets friends..:shakeno:....do you miss Pennington yet? Are you happy with the results so far...have all the free agents and their high cost, made your day?

We meet again...later this year...I hope Favre is still standing.

Pennington really impressed me with his play yesterday, especially considering it was coming off of the Arizona game.

I really think we can pull an upset over San Diego.

While I believe this is a bit early cause we just won yesterday, I think anyone who is sold, is setting high expectations. I think we all learned the first two weeks of the season that this Dolphion team still has work to do.

And thats the part that makes this all worth it...to know it's just the beginning...not the end of the beginning...but the beginning of the end of a long nightmare for all Dolphin fans!!
