Why??? Because Miami is my ####ing home town. Because I've been a fan of them since I was 4 ####ing years old. Because I ####ing bleed aqua and orange. Because I've seen worse ####ing seasons than this from them. Because I'm not a fair weather ####ing fan. Because my closet is filled with ####ing Phins jerseys, T-shirts, Sweatshirts etc., because I don't ####ing know how not to be.

No reason not to be proud of it. People that were Pats fans when they had the
Patriot Pat unis, I always respected. Tampa Bay fans, etc.

Nothing shameful about being a fan of a team.

I've noticed that supporting the Dolphins is a lot like supporting a political party. You may hate what one side thinks and/or does but you have to understand they're just trying to do what they think is best for the country. So while the haters on here have spewed their drivel and the homers have tooted their horns, they both have what they think are the best interests of the Dolphins in mind.
 
Trust me i love this team. I have a closet filled with fins merch as well. I have aqua and orange literally in my skin. Which has led me down the path that the best thing for this team is to hit rock bottom and get the best QB to come out in a long time. We need some LUCK.
 
I'm still a fan. I get ragged all the time about it being in the heart of Patriots country. I just wish we could beat the pats so i could rub it in thier face. I still wear my gear proudly as well. It still hurts to see them lose but i know some day we will win again.... someday.

Agreed. This should go without saying, but I feel that not everyone here feels the same way.
 
i would assume everyone on this forum is proud to be a dolphin fan, or they prob would not take the time to post on a fan website dedicated to the dolphins.

That's what a message board is for, to express your opinions and since none of us are really the football gurus we'd like to think we are who cares who posts what where. I made this thread simply to express my loyalty to the team amidst other fans jumping ship. If you don't like it then why did you choose to open it, read it, then post a couple times? It's funny to me that some people act like a thread that they deem "useless" is really a big deal. Who cares if it's useless or not it's a freaking message board, none of us are getting paid and someones posts has absolutely 0 effect on anyone elses life so basically just get over it!

Well said. Gotta stick with your team in the good and bad times. When they finally get back to winning it will be that much better. I was also raised in Miami (Killiam HS). No falling off the bandwagon.
