Because I'm a fan of the team, not the individual players. If a given player is not playing to his ability or flat out sucks and it's holding back the team from succeeding, yes, I will say he sucks. For example, last year, Colombo sucked.

I hate the outright "sucks" attitude displayed by people. Its lazy. It probably has more affect on the person you are in how you are perceived than anything. But hey, its finhell.....i mean finheaven.

and players have to have time to develop and get used to system, new coach, ect. but none of that is ever considered with the "sucks" diagnosis.

When it becomes a lazy, repetitive substitute for "he's not an all world player", then it gets tiresome. However, sometimes some players just suck; I think we're all in agreement about Colombo.

Guys that suck hinder the ultimate direction of the team and therefore, held accountable.

When you defend a guy who is hurting the team, you're putting that individual above the team.

I understand if you want to defend a guy who has a bad game or makes some bone-headed plays, but when you defend some bum like CHAD HENNE week after week after losing week, I question whether or not you're a Dolphins fan at all.

Actually what will be even more annoying this season is until he proves he's not ready in real game action start Tannehill will be the answer to all of our issues. We go 4-0 and lose a game with an average QB outing we see Start Tannehill threads. We lose 51-48 start Tannehill. Moore or Garrard throw pick after a good string of solid play start Tannehill. The D blows a 4th quarter lead start Tannehill. We lose to an obviously superior team start Tannehill. We start Tannehill and he's average there will be a good mix of Tannehills a bust threads and threads trying to convince the masses that despite the average performance he actually played really well. I've been here since 2002 this is how it will play out.

agreed. And i am the most lenient fan ever. Heck I liked guys that people say why the F*&^ do you like that guy. For example Rosenfels, Frerotte, Henne, Pennington, Harrington, Griese, Beck, Fiedler. When I player flat out sucks chances are I see the upside in him and potential. But some players are just god out awful

Because 7-9 or thereabouts for the last few years sucks, these players achieved those mediocre records. We do have some good players on this team, we have some young players that need to start showing how good they are and we have players that suck or are below average. If a player shows a pattern of bad playing then I have no problem saying that he sucks. He may be a nice guy, he may have used to been a great but in the present he is playing like raw bone ass then my friends I will say he sucks.
