What is wrong with most people on here... it is one game... after one loss everyone is calling for everyone to get cut. we made some UNCHARACTERISTIC mistakes and turned the ball over. Its not the end of the world. for those who want Fasano and Wilson cut, SHUT UP. They are better than anyone else we got. Last season Fasano had a good season. He has a bad game a you want him cut? For those who think we should have taken Ryan over Long, Shut UP!!! Long has proved to be a good pick. Ryan hasnt impressed me enough to think that. He has a good team around him and right now is managing the game along with a few good plays.

The season isnt over. Remeber last season we went 0-2 to start out the season.. you guys are expecting too much out of them right now.

The coaches did make a few mistakes but stop calling for them to be fired too. i dont understand a lot of your guys dumb posts when they call for someone to get fired after one game. I dont understand why we didnt run the ball more (especially since ronnie averaged over 4ypc and ricky over 5 ypc) but we fell behind and penny doesnt have the big play ability.
 
Im tired of Phin fans too. Just for completely different reasons. Im tired of seeing 12-4 predictions, people over rating the ability of Phin players, and under rating the ability of opponents players. Prime example is Gibril Wilson. Decent safety, but more of a run stopper than cover guy. I remember when he was signed, you would have thought we just signed Ronnie Lott in his prime.
 
I think everyone, myself included had high expectations coming into this game. I also think the fins went in with a little bit of a big head, well I hope they got the reality check, because, we're still in for one of the toughest seasons I can recall.
 
Maybe if people would not assume all is well after only one season we would not be so fast to jump ship

I tried many times in the offseason to make the point this team is still rebuilding. Most didnt want to hear it then, and apparently not now either.
 
Atlanta did not dominate us at all. We killed ourselves. We had many oppurtunities and we blew it. I really want Henning fired though. It's too early now to do that, but I can't stand his playcalling. I hated him last year too. O-line is very overrated. With the money we're spending, the oline should be top 5.

People are expecting too much out of this team. Calling the line, the Orca 5, was a mistake. We're in year 2 of a 4 year rebuilding process. In year 4, we'll be elite and a SB contender for a decade, just like the Colts, Pats, Chargers, Steelers, ect.
 
This is win now.league. This isn't a rebuilding league. Thats why we won 11 games last season and that what the players and coaches believe. Thats what fans want, thats what they pay for. Each year get better but don't hang on to the fact that your going to be better next year than this year.
 
I didn't really think Miami was that good last year. Sure they won the division but that mainly was luck not outright dominance. Most victories last year were eeked out over teams that were slightly worse than Miami. Now that Miami is playing a much tougher schedule, there won't be many if any eek out victories.
 
I agree that some fans are complete morons like the ones that are calling Jake Long ----> Joke Long after one game (classic and creative lol). They are others calling from everyone to get fired. There is another fan here that seems to hate this team and pretends to be a fan. We all know who that is. There are alot of heated words being written on this website right now. I expected it form probably the worse fan base in the league.

I didn't bother to read most of your dialogue but one thing that I can agree with you is that people are overeacting. The opener is not always great for most teams, and yet for others, just because they won the first game of the season by no means grants you a Lombardi. All that matters is that the team makes adjustments from their mistakes and put a better effort next week. The other team basically scored their points out of turnovers. That does not make them that much better of a team other than winning the game. The Falcons might not get a chance to execute from the other teams mistakes for the rest of their games just as they did today.

So if someone don't drink your brand of kool aid they are pretenders? Interesting.

And a Fan base your apart of? While I'm not calling for jobs or cuts, I will say MIA has its work cut out this year. And Penny is doing nothing to ease MY concerns following the BALT game.

5 INTS in the last 2 games...and a fumble.

and some, like myself, just call it the way they see it. whether the way i see it is accurate, who knows. i asked some of the fanboys to address my concerns with some actual knowledge. the O Line going back to last year not being able to move the ball on the ground. wr's outside of Ginn who are possession guys. still havent got an answer to either. in fact, some admitted they had no idea, yet in the next breath proclaim the Phins can win this division. thats blind faith, nothing more. IMO, that makes a fan look foolish.

Mistakes or not we got dominated. We barely spent any time in Atlanta territory while they spent the day in ours
 
Amen brother. We sucked as a team today but calling for people to be cut is just stupid.
