What if as this thing plays out, the jags and the skins end up being actually good teams and not cupcakes like we thought initially? I mean skins beat rams this week and rams are tough. Jags lost last week to the panthers, and the panthers won this week as well to the texans. So it might be that these teams are better than we thought. It also might mean we arent who we thought we were either. If the jags beat the patriots next week will you feel better? I dont know if I will because I dont even think we are better than last year how the team is looking now.

Pats will beat the Jags by at least 30. Janeane Garofalo will be in at QB by the 3rd quarter while Brady sits on the bench playing with his deflated balls.

Bortles played very well. If he strings together several games like that and his receivers stop dropping the ball, Jags could be decent. Their defense is underrated and that's without Marks.

I think there is a case against the whole "2 horrible teams!!!" hysteria. Redskins in particular I thought looked like a decent team week 1, then looked good yesterday. Like you, I'm upset and expect better, especially in dlline, run game, and penalties. The fins need to play better, but I'm not gonna write the whole thing off just yet on two road games vs NFL teams, being 1-1.

Using your hypothetical scenario, what does it say when a team like the Jags make improvements and drafts better players, while the Fins make big moves that might backfire, over estimate the talent on the team, and then regress?
The Jags and Washington are seemingly better than the Fins. We just got lucky in the Washington game. We should be 0-2.
Rumor is the team is in disarray and the locker room is not happy with the staff. It looks like the end of last year so far.
Philbin is on his way out, probably Coyle and Lazor as well.
