the Dolphins arent going after anybig names, Even R Colvin, Washington threreciever from PIT, Kevin Carter, T Spikes, PLEEEEEEEEEEEeeasse
 
The Redskins have won 3 or 4 offseason titles the past few years. Didn't help them in the Fall, did it?
 
i know after that first day of free agency i thought we were gonna keep on signing but we haven't done **** since then.
 
Just because they have a big name, doesn't mean they still have it, or fit the system that is being put in place. Before Belicheat went crazy last offseason signing everyone up, he built his team with good players, not the high priced big names.

Why did you think they were going to continue signing players when they already signed more players in one day than most teams will do during the entire FA period? And they did sign that one KC FB/ST player.
 
We will not sign anyone over 29 years old. Parcells and co. know that the way to build championship teams is through the draft. If you do sign Free agents, you make sure that the player is young and on the rise.

Basically the opposite approach of the NY Jets. All those guaranteed contracts to over 30 players are going to come back and haunt them.

That said, I'd like to see us resign Rex Hadnot at a discount and go after Larry Fitzgerald who is only 24 years old and already a premier receiver in this league. THOSE are the guys you go after in the off season (either through free agency or trade).
 
Those aren't big names just washed up has beens. I still think we might make a trade for D.Hall or Chad Johnson now those are big names.
 
When you are 1-15, big names don't help your team. You need to get younger through FA and through the draft which is what Parcells is doing. What would be the point if we signed Asante Samuels and say Lance Briggs? Our team would be spending millions of dollars and our record next year could be 4-12. You need to build depth with youth so they can grow into a football team together. That's when you'll see the turn around from 1-15
 
We've tried that for the better part of a decade. Passs. I like the non big name younger players better. Good on parcells n co.
 
i want them to make moves too, but only smart moves. not a move to be a move, or an minor upgrade at position. their is really no one out there to help us via free agency anymore. look for trades. and the draft.

exactly. take, for example, the ny giants. they won it without tiki or shockey. who would've thought?
 
I'm not Upset, We got the Best of the Best, we got Bill. I trust his decisions and know he signs who he means to sign and shuns who he means to shun. We will win again, in fact, I guarantee we will win more than double the wins from last year.
