I'm really not into the scenario thing but thought of this last night and found it interesting. Lets say the hated Jets win out until week 17 and cannot increase their playoff position by beating us. Lets say if we win we are in and if we lose NE is in. Do you think Mangini does whatever it takes to knock out NE right there? Not that I want to make the playoffs that way but I'd have to say he would. What do you guys think.

mangini would do whatevers best for his football team. likely resting a lot of his guys.

Yeah the jets would sit everyone in that game. No way he plays Favre the entire game in that situation. thats just plain stupid.

He probably even sits them even if Home field throughout is on the line.

lol I though of that today! that would be a great way to screw the pats, I seriously hope the ravens drop their last 4 games.

I think it would be very tempting for Mangini to try his best to knock Belicheat out of the playoffs. With that said I dont think he would do that. What he would do though is let Favre play a quarter or a half and then play Kellen Clemens and a lot of the backups. But I dont think that guruantees a Dolphin victory.

Yep. if it comes down to the Jets losing their last game by resting their guys (putting us in the playoffs and the Pats out) then you gotta think he would do it. Why would Mangini risk hurting any of his starters on Week 17, if they have the AFC East wrapped up?

Baltimore has a pretty tough schedule.... Pitt, Wash, Dallas, Jax and the Bengals. Ok so maybe the Bengals is a win for sure.
