We could, by this weekend, have Carey, Crowder, Bell resigned. We could add Brown, TJ Whoseyourmamma and/or most likely Coles.

So I ask you this. Is NT the logical pick at 25? Or do we go elsewhere. Maybe trade down and collect more picks.

It's already been reported that Bell is close to resigning. There are planty of rumors that Brown could be signed Friday morning. That means I have only added TJ and or Coles. I think Coles will be here due to the Pennington connection. So you tell me. Where will it come from? I am looking at what is being reported and put all the individual pieces together on one thread.

With the cap impact, maybe that's an added reason to trade down.

I'm thinking we go with one of the several DE/OLB like English, Sintim, C Matthews, or M Johnson. Then go with a CB/S with the 44 pick like Sean Smith or Delmas.

It doesn't matter what he did in college. Will Allen was all over the Cards receivers and they just caught the ball over him. It was like watching a young, fast boy get dominated by slow tall men. Go back and watch the game.

With Crowder signed and IF we can get Bell and Goody signed we could go NT or C with the 1st or trade down as any NT or C we want will probably still be there in the 2nd round. Or we could still go with a ILB to compete with Crowder/Adoye and for depth.

There's lots you can do with that pick that would be better than a 5'9" CB.

I was more intrigued by a playmaking CB. There's not many available this year. His size is a concern though.

By Miami. Sorry I wasn't clear on that. Look on this site. You will see many links in many threads that say he may be signed as soon as FA starts. You can also search Google news for "Miami Dolphins" and find it that way as well.

Trading down will save us maybe 500 000 - 750 000 so that's not really gonna do much.


Okay so we had around 23 mil (some say less) left after Carey, lets guess C.Crowder got around 5 mil a season, that leaves 18mil. You need 6mil to sign draft picks so now we have 12mil. Bell will get atleast what Crowder got at 5 mil a year (still just a guess) so now we have 7mil. Brown Coles and TJ all will want a minimum of 6-7 mil a year and that means there's no other FA's that can be signed to fill in depth or any other holes.

So again please fill me in on how it's remotely possible to sign your bounty of FA's.

First and foremost, I said TJ and/or Coles. I believe Coles will be the one signed. I also believe that Coles may sign for less. And you are also leaving out the real possibility that we will cut some players and clear some cap room as well.
