If the Bears and Patriots win (I'm rooting against both), we creamed both Super Bowl teams. Kind of cool as a consolation.

Ask yourself this: Who would you rather see hoisting the SB trophy in the middle of Dolphin Stadium?

a) Tom Brady
b) Peyton Manning
c) Drew Brees
d) Rex Grossman

I'll take d, and I hate the Bears.

I'll hate Nick Saban for the rest of my life if Drew is the one.
Just figure choosing between him and Daunte, and picking that wrong!!!
 
IF i had to pick one to win, id have to say the pats for one reason alone..........they would be representing the AFC east, and we could always use the excuse that this is the best conference in football.

Not Drew's fault Saban picked DC. You get what you pay for. Well, except for in our case we got a lot less for what we paid.
 
I'm not feeling very consoled . . . rather it was us playing.

Personal desire for SB matchup: Saints vs. Colts, Colts to win it all. Only so I don't have to spend my whole life listening to "Manning was just like Marino, great but never won the big one".

B. Being a Dolphin fan, how could you wish what happened to our beloved Dan Marino to happen to Peyton Manning? Out of spite? Maybe if the guy was a shmuck but he's not. He's a pretty decent human being, heck as far as football players go I'd say he's pretty damn classy and his QB skills are undebatable. His passes remind of Dan's and every now and again he'll make me feel nostalgic. I hope he wins one.

Same here....rooting against both....

But I believe it's going to be a Saints vs. Patriots Superbowl

The only better thing for that story line is if the game was in NO. The QB from New Orleans, from NO's most famous family, vs the QB playing for NO. What a great thing that would be for a city that needs so much healing.
 
brady...just because the pat's are a team with average talent, yet bellichek keeps winning...i always like to see coaching prevail
 
I'll go out on my back porch and vomit if I see Brady holding up another Lombardi on Super Bowl sunday. It's just too much. I want the Colts or the Saints to win it. I don't really care that much which one. I think the Bears are overrated so I can't see them winning it anyway.
