In hopes we can get that coveted extra 2nd or third pick in a trade down - Because we need a dance partner to trade down (but not too far) to still get Kendricks (who I think they will eventually select)

Taking a WR in the second

As great as Gurley looks on film, not sure vouching for an injured RB as "the pick" at 14 is the way to get a team to trade up and give up a 2nd to do so.

I think there will be first round interest . . . . just don't see the interest in a team giving up a 2nd rounder in the process to make that happen.

yeah why would we ever consider taking the best player in the draft....lets trade down and take another jared odrick and koa misi instead of a future all pro

Yea you would have said the same thing about Trent Richardson ....... Unfortunately nobody has a crystal ball now do they .....

Trading down gives you more opportunities to fill some holes and add depth too a team that is hurting at a lot of positions. No one in this draft is on Earl Thomas' level so I would have no problem doing it

Still think T.J Clemmings, La'el Collins, or Brandon Scherff help the team more. Give Miller a chance, he's kinda fast and young.

need a trade partner to move back - a few spots for an extra third hopefully land a 2nd - but I doubt it

Either we take Gurley and people will complain, or we pass on him and if turns out anything close to Adrian people will complain the next 7-10 yearswe passed on him lol. I am good with whoever we take for most part outside of reaching you just never know what you're going to get no matter how sure of a prospect they are.

If we take gurley ill be so ill be so pissed as a fan

Thank you. Did C.J Spiller and Trent Richardson teach us nothing?!? Unless it's an AP (this dude ain't) tough to justify a premium pick on a running back, especially when you have a young budding star at the position. He could be a great talent, honestly I don't know, I don't watch him. Just saying Trich was pretty special too coming out, just imo when you're a rb drafted that high in today's game, the ODDS of you not justifying that pick are very hi. Ask C.j Spiller.

Honestly, as much as I currently don't care for him at 14 . . . if we drafted him, you'd be getting one hell of a player and best believe, if healthy, he probably helps this offense more than anybody else available at 14.

I just rather address the defense and load up on talent. RB is an easy position to get quality from and depth. Our defense back 7 is thin as can be, we can't ignore that early in this draft.

You don't know he isn't AP though.. No matter what player anyone prefers could end up being a bust, we may love the pick then in 2 years be complaining it was a horrid idea, that's just how it works.

As for CJ Spiller is a different back type imo and Richardson I can't say much I didn't follow him that draft but just from youtube clips how he turned out doesn't shock me but I am watching video with hindsight so that skews it of course.

Granted better chance he isn't AP than is but we don't know either way. That's aside I do like Miller and perfectly comfortable him being our starter.

Gurley is just the flavor of the month. TRUST ME, Trich was a GREAT prospect coming out too. The dude benched pressed like 500 pounds as a freshman at Bama, entered the draft injry free, very young, and having had run an excellent 40. He checked all the boxes, I'm sure he was the next AP too lol. Maybe I'm wrong about Gurley, like I said I'm not familiar with him. I just don't want a first round hb in general. #MILLER TIME
