I really believe that Ross and Ireland hired coach Joe to recruit Matt flynn with him thw whole time. Why do you think Miami has been so quiet in all this?. They dony want flynn thinking.he isn't our guy. I pray that this isn't the.reasoning and we could just sign peyton but knowing the Dolphins in.the past 13 years this is classic them.
 
your nuts man.. a billion dollar franchise dosent hire a coach for an opportunity at a quarterback...
 
No that's not what I'm saying I think philbin wowed them but I just think his original plan was he wanted to bring flynn with him because he believes in him.
 
I think nobody knows what the Dolphins front office wants, because they never accurately tip their hand. It's the Parcellian mindset that Ireland inherited. Misinformation, obfuscation, cloak and dagger stuff.
 
I think Flynn is option #2

For the record I am fine not acquiring PM - I think this "supposed" three horse race is a a business ploy - to extract every dollar from Ross

If Philbin truly believes Flynn can be a pro-bowl QB for us for the next 10 years then I could see MIA using Manning as a bit of a smoke screen to hide their true intentions. I'm not sure this is the case but it's plausible
 
Flynn wants 60Mover 5 years.....Kolb 2012, or Jay feeley 2.0 ... IMHO. There is no way we will sign Flynn. He has scant starting experience. I don't want him. He was a 7th round draft pick for a reason.
And...He is going to Cleveland. They will pay him Kolb money.

If we don't land Manning, I think we are back to square one. We will draft Hennehill at #8 and Matt Moore starts the season at QB. We will be fine and groom the rookie for a couple years down the road.

I think with the new staff we have, a WCO, and our current players plus this draft to fill holes, we will be improved and competing for the AFCE crown.

If we have Manning, we should be a 12-13 win team, and a favorite for the SB.

I think every team but Green Bay, Colts and Pats want Manning. Maybe not saints.
 
why does everybody feel that flynn is answer? what if matt moore played for greenbay

why does everybody feel that flynn is answer? what if matt moore played for greenbay as backup,,, would we want him too as starter. i hope they have fair competion between each other. my take is moore will be dolphins starting qb this year. manning is not coming to dolphins and flynn is not either. they will draft 2 rookie qb this yr rd2 and 6th rd....
 
I think both sides know what the deal is and that he will be with miami, all behind the scenes work. Or its just wishful thinking and he will sign with the Cardinals because they have a dome.
 
i believe ross has stated the fins will be in the market for peyton and are waiting to hear back from the manning camp to set up an interview. plus there was a report ross spoke on the phone w/ peyton on the night he was released.

How do you know that Flynn is NOT the answer?? Part of finding a QB is taking a chance & If Philbin believes in him & seeing that he knows his abilities probably better than anyone I trust him to take that risk. I would
Prefer Manning but I would be happy with Flynn.
