That is a major injury. The foot is far more complex to heal than the ankle. Since he has both, an average ankle requires 2 weeks to heal, 1 week rehab, and then a fast healer might play with limited ability in the 4th week...with significant risk of reinjury.

A complex sprain, not knowing what part of the foot is injured, but by looking at the photo...he could have an average sprain to broken tarsals, which the later would end his season.

If we knew if he was bearing weight on the foot or if his knee is flexed and he is 100% using crutches would be very telling.

Consider his position and the stress placed on his feet and ankles in order to generate power and speed. The foot injury will be very difficult to overcome for the remainder of this season.

Also consider his contract situation...I doubt Ronnie nor his agent will rush his return.

My call is he is effectively out 4-6 weeks with limited capability on his return.

This was a bad weekend for running backs.

Are you really going to try to blame Ronnie for this injury? It was a freak thing it's not like he pulled a hammy or something. His knee was the same kind of deal. These are not "injury prone" label kind of injury's.

Wow Ronnie Brown gets injured, who could have predicted that.

How can a guy workout the right way so that he never gets hurt? I mean, look at Ronnie Brown. Does he look like a weak guy? There's only so much you can do to prevent injuries. When you have a bunch of big, fat guys chasing you every play, I'm kinda shocked injuries aren't more of a factor.

You'd think every player would get hurt all the time.

He makes huge amounts of money and has never had more than 250 carries in a year.

Id say if Ronnie and his agent are smart, they will get him back on the field ASAP, or he is gunna get labled injury prone.

I think it is too late. He is making star RB money, but is only good in a 2 back system. He is soft.

Go away, your opinion know longer carries ANY weight what so ever after this comment. Have you ever even seen the man run? Yeah he's soft, why don't you ask opposing defenders how soft he is. I've heard it from many players that say he is the most punishing runner in the league and hardest to bring down.

Ronnie's running style is punishing for both the defender and himself. Injuries are bound to happen, even for a guy in as good a shape as Ronnie. The guy fights for every extra inch and doesn't cave when hit. There is a reason that Ted Ginn doesn't get hurt.

It doesn't look good but hopefully he's able to make a speedy recovery and return at 100%. I'm confident in Ricky carrying the load until Ronnie returns, and I definitely do not think we should be in any rush to get Ronnie back until he is fully healed which may unfortunately take awhile.

Of course INO Ronnie is out 3-4 weeks easily.. Your entire outlook on everything that has to do with the phins in your posts is negative so why would you think otherwise.
