IMO, our OL will be the difference between us winning anywhere from 6 to 12 games.

12 wins ... piece of cake ... only trouble, it will take us about 2 years!!

We did not start playing last season until half way into the year. If Matt Moore, R Bush and our defense begin this season where they left off last year I can see 10 wins easy.

How exactly are we to gauge if this was one of the worste trades ever? just curious...

You can't gauge that now obviously, it's going to be based on what will happen in the next few years. In my opinion, Marshall will continue to be a dominant player with the Bears, they will make a few playoff runs with him on the team, and we will struggle to find that kind of production from an offensive player. Brandon Marshall type talents don't grow on trees, he was completely under utilized and under appreciated here... A decent QB/o line/ OC would have went a long way for Brandon here.

And we got two 3rds... Bad.

So how was he under utilized here?
last year stats
targets #7 in the league with 145 Bess was 2nd on team with 83
Receptions #10 with 81
TD's #33 tied with 12 others

Pass protection and pass rush will be the key to a successful season.
Right now, I am not as concerned about the Oline. I have greater concerns about getting to the QB.

i think drafting martin was an incredible pick our line is basically set if they stay healthy. Incognito is a pretty damn good guard, we just need t sure up the right side. didn't we sign someone?

Agree the WCO should take a bit of pressure off the oline. Really don't think Moore suits the WCO, and with little threat from our receivers, a line that should be improved but to me will be middle of the pack, better play calling should help. Overall I'm thinking a 7 or 8 win season, think too many youngsters in the team and a new offense for everyone to get used to that is based on timing and people knowing what each other is going to do. Can someone please explain to me how Incognito fits a zone blocking scheme?

Should've went down the field to him more and made him the focal point on offense.

Baby TO was to much the focus of the offense. If being the 7th in targeted passes isn't a focal point, I sure hate to see what not being the focal point is.

Our Offense started off very slowly last season (I do not count the game against the Patriots). It seems like our coaches had little idea what to do with our new players. Plus players like D Thomas etc had early hamstring problems. This season it really seems like our new coaches have a plan and are already running it.

Last season we had Henne get hurt and Matt Moore who had very few reps had to learn the offense and we had to learn about him.

I think our Offense will be better and that it could make our defense look better stat wise.

More 1st downs, longer drives, scoring more will help our defense a lot.

We were 6th in scoring defense, giving up only 19.6 points, but our offense only scored 20.6 points per game (20th in the NFL). So we only 1.0 points more per game then we allowed. Our 3rd down percentage was also low, 26th in the NFL at 33%.

So longer drives and more scoring will keep our defense off the field.

The NY Giants only scored 4 points more per game (24.6) then we did and won the Super Bowl. Oddly, they gave up 25 points a game........But on both offense and defense they made more big plays. Everything on defense from getting more sacks to more interceptions to more FF and getting more fumbles. On offense they gave up a LOT less sacks and hit on a lot more long pass completions. They gave up 3 more interceptions but scored 9 more passing TDs.

While Matt Moore had an above average QB rating, it didn't reflect his high sack and fumble percentage. I believe that the Dolphins were dead last in sacks / pass attempts (15.5% of the time). So I believe that Matt Moore could benefit most from improved offensive line play. But since he is not a quick decision maker and does not throw well on the run, the sack totals may have been more attributable to Moore holding on to the ball too long rather than pure abysmal offensive line play. If Moore just doesn't fit into the WCO philosophy of quick reads and getting rid of the ball, the transition to Tannehill could take place sooner rather than later. That will cost the Dolphins a few wins this year while getting Tannehill prepared towards assuming control as the opening day starter in 2013.
