IMO Parcells should not bring in RB........

Julius Jones because he is not that great and Marion Barber is a lot better. I am not saying that Parcell said he was going to bring in Jones but I have a hunch he may. I say no to J.J. Go Fins in 2008.:D
 
I wouldn't mind getting JJ. If you ask me if we get JJ we should cut Ricky and have them both split carries.
 
No matter who is our QB, I see this being a very run heavy team in '08. I would expect a two-headed monster at the RB position, similar to what Dallas was doing with MB & JJ.

The real question is will the new Miami FO view anybody that is currently on the roster as a legitimate #2 back on a predominantly running team? My hunch is no. (I'm not including L.Booker here, who I think will fulfill a Kevin Faulk type of role.)
 
There is absolutely no way I want Jones on this team. He sucks major ***. He is horrible. It should be a no brainer that anyone would rather have Barber than Jones. I wont be upset if we dont get Barber, but I sure as hell want nothing to do with Jones.
 
I wouldnt mind bringing in Julius to spell Ronnie if Chatman doesnt re-sign.

Guys, we need someone to spell Ronnie... and Chatman is a FA. Signing an RB is something that is going to happen this offseason.

I wouldnt imagine Julius commanding much...
 
I just don't see Parcells bringing in a big name guy like Barber or Jones. He'll stick with Ronnie Brown.

What an unrealistic opinion this is. Please tell me who our running backs will be in 2008. I think we have a bigger need than most really believe. I'm not sure if it just a lack of foresight or just a will not to believe it but we are not in great shape at the position.
 
I'm kind of curious to see what Gado might be able to do if he gets a chance to build some chemistry with the team. He did some impressive things in Green Bay when Ahman Green was injured a couple years back... but I'm kind of doubting we will see him in training camp.

Not just that, but in a word: "Parcells, Parcells, Parcells." Look what he did with the scouting/coaching staffs. People he trusts. He's going to do the same thing with the roster. It would be inconceivable to me that we don't draft or sign a FA ball carrier this Spring. We have to have Ronnie insurance and it has to be someone BP trusts, and can let the coaches he trusts develop into his kind of player.
 
Julius would not come to Miami,he blamed Parcells for
his robotic running style and he wants to be the primary
back.Good luck with that,maybe try Denver.

thing is that Julius Jones is NOT a big name guy....he's not gonna be in high demand this offseason. He'll get a shot as a backup or maybe in a platoon situation....but that's about it. With Ronnie being injured, Ricky being unpredictable and Chatman being a FA, he's exactly the type of player I think should be given a look.
