I think Brett Favre will pull out because of his bad shoulder and Chad will get his spot. Many players are named to the PB but do not play because of injury and alternates are called to replace them. Pennington will get the nod. Just a prediction. Go Fins. Destroy Baltimore:D:up::D
 
Rivers is the next alternate, not Chad.

Chad is the second alternate as AFC QB.
 
If you aren't first team, IMO...It's like...*Whatever*...... Of course, a guy that has a 50/50 ratio to TDs/INTs makes 1st team......The Pro Bowl has lost all relevance with me.

Plus the Redskins fans are making a joke out of this whole thing.
Well Big Ben Rothlesburger got carried out on a stretcher.
I haven't seen an update about his situation (if someone knows let me know) but maybe Favre and him are out. Chad's in then!

Big Ben didn't even make the Pro Bowl lol

I think Favre making it was the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen, like Goon said it doesn't even matter. If they are gonna snub Chad, least let it be with Rivers, Manning and Cutler (even tho Pennington clearly deserves it over Cutler) . . . they let Favre in, unbelievable.
 
Penny should turn it down. I know he never will because he is a true professional and it's a free trip to Hawaii, but the Pro-Bowl is a joke.
 
i rether get the ring then the pro bowl... if chad can get the ring the pro bowl doesnt mean nothing to him regardless to us the fin fans though we know he was the most important player to his team aside from manning maybe to the colts.cuz they would stink without manning.
 
All I know is that no Dolphins will be playing in the Miami Pro Bowl next year, because we'll be too busy getting ready to play the SuperBowl
 
I don't know what Manning's record is for attending or not attending the Pro Bowl, but his knee injury from the off season may temp him to stay home this year. Man I hope so for Chad's sake. Even though the Pro Bowl may seem like a joke, once a player makes it they are always called a "Pro Bowl Player" from that point forward. It would be nice for Chad to be able to say that, IMHO. He deserves it for all the work he puts in.

The Pro bowl selections back then were always justified. I think the league needs to revise the pro bowl valoting. I love my man Ronnie Brown but he didn't have a pro bowl year. He had a more efficent year than Brett Farve of course.

Yea I mean Ronnie just didn't get enough reps to get in the Pro Bowl, its hard when u have Ricky Williams in the mix. His selection was very suprising, but I think the wildcat and his 5 TD performance at New England (probably performance of the year by any player in the league . . . wait . . . nevermind Brett had 6 TD's against Arizona . . Ronnie is eliminated by default) had something to do with it.
 
Yea He Still Needs About 130 Or So To Get 1k.... Considering There Sharing The Load Iam Surprised He Got In Also. And In The Nfc They Put In C. Portis I Love Em Cuz Hes Fromt He U! But He Stunk Out After His Little Fiasco With Zorn. I Think Deangelo From Carolina Should Have Made That...

In the past, I believe he's always attended (one of the few to do so). As he gets a bit older, and recovery from injuries takes longer, he may not be as willing to attend. Lets hope that's the case with both him and Favre, although as more and more players like Favre get voted in the honor is not being considered as notable as it once was.
