It's one game and although it was ugly let's step back and take a breath.

(1) losing Knowshon was as about the worse start we could have.
(2) Bills D line is a strength of theirs and our oline is a weakness of ours.
(3)Their running game is very good and we are down to 2nd string LB's and today it showed.
(4) It was a huge home opener for them and we just came off a huge game vs. the Patriots.

None of this means by the end of the season we won't make the playoffs or are going to be behind Buffalo in the standings. Buffalo just has our number and that's about it.

The only "big" thing other than the injuries I'm disappointed in is our offensive play-calling isn't what was billed in the off season. Our offense isn't dynamic and we almost never find ways to get favorable matchups.

Next week they line them up again and I expect something better.

The Bills present a matchup problem, but that doesn't excuse:

1. Ryan Tannehill being very inaccurate.
2. Drops.
3. No running game.
4. No pass protection.
5. Awful special teams.
6. Nobody covering Sammy Watkins after we had finally started to get some momentum.

Today the Bills kicked our ass. Most people would take 1-1 to start this year. Regroup and come out strong next week against the Chiefs.

I hate mediocrity.

You enjoy it. You only cared about attacking other posters but not the team. Homers gonna homer.

Cut and paste much? You have said nothing new since noon.

I said in another thread this line was going to be a good test for us...and we failed badly. But there are plenty of teams we play that do not have that great a line. Also, Lazor made good adjustments in the second half. We are are definitely limited right now, so we may end up with a winning season...but we really aren't going anywhere.

Nothing to see here guys ..... except an important divisional game we just got blasted in.

The did a good job of taking away the running game. We had to use multiple people to block and could get to the second level on the inside. Lazor did a good job in the send half of taking it outside to counter their strength inside. I said this line would be big test...we didn't do very well. Particularly in pass blocking. Smith got owned...
