Misi, Ellerbe, and Jordan. Misi shuts down the run. Ellerbe is decent but cant get off a block to save his life, and Jordan is just a freak. if you haven't noticed (im sure you have) wheeler gets killed in coverage, but when Jordan is in coverage the TE doesn't do anything. I don't get why the lbs haven't been switched up. I understand that wheeler got payed pretty good to come here, but if Jordan has been out playing him in the little snaps that he has at lb why not freaking play him? thoughts?

I thought that Wheeler actually played his best game against the Jets. He and Ellerbe look like they may be making progress learning Coyle's system.
Dion Jordan is going to be good but as a DE - and he may need to put on on 12 lbs in the off season. He looks a little light. I am comfortable with Coyle's approach to Jordan. He may be used as an LB on certain plays but I don't know that is his long term future.

I actually think next year we may be better off running a 3-4, but definitely still need to pick up a linebacker. But even so, Jordan as an edge rusher in the 43 is just so damn appealing.

Disagree. In a 3-4, you can't get Wake, Jordan and Vernon on the field at the same time since all 3 would play the same OLB position. In a 3-4, you can stick Wake and Vernon at DE and Jordan at OLB and allow him to cover or blitz, maybe running some zone blitz concepts with 2 of the 3 on the same side since all have the agility to drop into coverage.

Jordan is not a natural DE. if they wanted a natural DE they should've went with Ansah. He needs to play that hybrid 3-4 LB or he won't be very successful IMO. move him around, use his athleticism. He's too raw right now as a DE and only seems to want to use his speed to get pressure. Needs a couple moves.

I get your concept but there's no reason why wake should be dropping in coverage. He's our best pass rusher, i dont care how many sacks Vernon has, he's not better. Vernon has the speed to play in coverage somewhat. Needless to say, Jordan NEEDS to be on the field more than 10 ****in plays a game.

Wheeler is definitely the most useless linebacker on the team. Misi and Ellerby are studs but then u throw in wheeler and he is just ****ing awful
