If Billick gets the boot I would go after him in a flash. Of the guys we have interviewed I think Gailey is the most likely. I think WH prefers an old hand at this juncture, to steady the ship after the Saban debacle.
 
This is completely contrary to every report we have heard regarding the final 4.

I know that. But remember when we were looking for a GM. We interviewed everyone then WH played it safe by hiring Spielman. Then he tried to get Marino to sell it to the fans.

Could it be that we re-signed Capers to pave the way for a Gailey return??

Have you read one, ONE source that discusses the coaching situation. Gaileys being considered the 4th guy right now, and billicks not getting fired.
 
they had a 2nd interview with Schoty, and re sign Capers. I think a deal is in place just waiting for it to be finalized with Schoty.
 
My thinking is the Dolphins are going to look younger because of the success of Mangini and will talk Schottenhiemer(sp) or the Vikings D-Coordinator. Also i think Mueller will be given the GM role with actual GM power this time. If i was going to wager i would put my money on Schottenheimer(sp) because he is an offensive guy. I think this is the reason Capers was resigned, so i totally agree with firemanx.
 
No way would I want Billick!!!! :shakeno: We need a young and hungry guy who has never been a head coach in the NFL.
