How does todays ugly showing affect our homefield for week 2? I really hope the fans can get behind the team here now that we've earned our way back onto national television.
I was watching this recent set of late games and couldn't help but notice the advantage these home teams gain from their crowd. Especially in the Seattle game - f@#$ing insanity! The crowd is standing up on defense the entire game -- even after they are up 3 touchdowns. You could see the pure frustration this was having on Bulger and guys like McMichael. They were yelling at each other and couldn't hear anything. It was pure chaos.
I understand it's not realistic for us to ever battle for the loudest stadium (especially with our current setup) -- but I really hope there isn't empty seats or a Colts takeover. With our previous bandwagon history and the economy still in the ****ter, I'm feeling a bit concerned.
A bunch of us will be down in 146 -- LOUD AND PROUD! GO DOLPHINS! NEVER GIVE UP!
