The Miami Dolphins are a smash-mouth team trying to crash a postseason party likely to be loaded with pass-heavy, fast-break attacks.
Coach Tony Sparano's old-school squad has proved it can beat teams running the ball. Turns out the Dolphins are proving they can win with passing, as well, since second-year quarterback Chad Henne has earned Sparano's trust.
"We have all the confidence in the world in this guy," Sparano says of Henne, 7-3 as a starter after completing a club-record 17 consecutive passes in a 14-10 win last Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, one of the three other 7-6 teams Miami finds itself logjammed with in the AFC standings.
