you guys not giving the chiefs enough credit.

You guys have to admit, there were a lot of things on the players minds tonight. And for you guys, it had to be even tougher with all the family and friends and personal belonging concerns.

This couldn't have been a better scenario for the Chiefs. get in, get out, and start thinking about a tough game against the Chargers in 2 weeks.

I tried telling you guys our D was improved. We are solid against the run,a nd I think you saw that tonight. You could take away about 4 or 5 plays, and we dominated this game like we did against the Jets week 1.

Take away the Brown run, the long ball pass to your return guy, the return for a TD, and the long pass to Chambers, and this is a completely different ballgame. I'm not making excuses, just stating how it is. The thing that killed us in the past was the big plays, and obviously that is where Miami was successful tonight. We control the big plays and this is a completely different game.

The Chiefs are a very solid team, all the way around. The D-Line is now getting pressure, our LBs are playing well, and our secondary is solid. Surtain and Knight really made some plays.

On offense, it's still there. It's just taken some time to get where we need to be. And we still may not be there just yet! But don't cut yourself short. You lost to a very damn good football team tonight IMO, under some very stressful circumstances. There is no reason to believe your season is over, Saban won't be a competent NFL coach, and even this season you can't get done what you need to to find yourself int eh playoffs.

The Chiefs just had to have this game. And they went in and took it. Now it's off to San Diego, and time to look to take our second road divisional game. Good luck to you guys the rest of the way, especially the other times you square up against ACW foes :)

hey man, I picked you guys to go the superbowl. surtain and dj will put you over the hump. kc is a great team, I just wish we could've put up more of a fight. Gus skipping balls to receivers, or throwing them into the stands just isn't helping any.

You guys have a good team I feel like if every one stays healthy you may be in the Super-Bowl good luck with the rest of your season.

winnable game if gus wasn't starting.

all off our losses were winnable but gus just stinks.

your two RBs are great.

nice game especially after having to come in late today and suit up. Having said that, don't be too happy there skippy. Do not use our team as a barometer. i have been scouting your team this year because i thought you were a legitimate playoff contender. You have flaws. Your secondary is weak though it should improve now that mccleon is being replaced by warfield. Nonetheless though you are good against the run you have zero pass rush (do not use our offensive line as a gauge of your talent). You have average receivers but a great line (though a little weaker run blocking than last year), a great running duo and te. Your a good offense maybe even very good but not great. You are playing in the toughest division in football. at this stage i would say you're still behind san diego and denver

I think you're full of it and this is your way of trolling.

DUH! Take away two of our TDs and we win this game. :shakeno:

Talk about tooting your own horn. You're D-Line got little pressure on a mediocre Oline and to be honest I hardly noticed Knight all night long.. except when Ronnie blew past him. Thats the Knight I remember.

We are solid against the run

We hardly ran the ball. And when we did, Ronnie looked damn good. Hello! 95 yards on under 10 carries? Yah, terrific run defense. But because of the circumstances (being down early) we had to throw. Sucks, but thats the way it is.

Good luck to you.

Fact is, we lost because we couldnt stop the run. And not many teams will be able to with Roaf back.

and after next year when Roaf, Shields aren't there then what do they do>

Who cares? ;)

no kidding! We start Black at LT, Waters at LG, Weigmann at C, Wellbourne at RG, and Bober or Sampson at RT. Maybe even pickup someone!

Fact is though, we're still playing for this year! And we did put some pressure on Frerotte and mforce him to make some mistakes. And finally, I'm not trolling. Fact of the matter is, we're playing SD next week and I just came here to see what you guys thought about this game. You can discredit us all you want, I'll still stand by my earlier ramblings...

I sure hope you dont think that those guys can just fill in for Roaf and Shields. Good luck with that

Frerotte threw one pick, and it was late in the game when he was forcing the ball. Had little to do with pressure- just trying to make something happen. So what mistakes are you referring to? The tipped balls early? I watched the game- just bad mechanics by Gus. He had tons of time.

I'm not discrediting the Chiefs. They won the game because we couldnt contain their run attack. However, I still didnt see much of a threat on defense despite our struggles. IMO Gus was off the mark all night and the fact that we fell behind early meant that we could not run as much as we should.. We clearly had success running the football. Anyway, good luck against the Chargers. I hate the Broncos, so win that division please.

.

And I don;t think you get what I'm saying. We dominated this game, outside of the long plays we gave up. How many long plays did the Chiefs give up? The Chiefs just got up, and went into the stupid prevent instead of playing defense, and allowed some big plays. Same thing happenned when we blew our lead to Philly. Quit changing **** up and play some damn D!

Look at it this way. Let me take 4 of your offensive plays away, and you take 4 of the Chiefs offensive plays away! How much of a difference do you think that is going to make?

I think you guys had success running the football on one play, and not much outside of that...

jeeze, take away ronnie's 65 yard run and your guys's combined rushing was 13 carries for 29 yards...

Its a ridiculous point though, because earlier in the thread you are praising your defense, and then you go on to basically say that they have gone back to their old ways giving up big plays despite the additions of Pat and Sammy.

Oh and that "return guy" is Wes Welker. Remember the name. Hes going to be something special.

And what return for a TD are you speaking of exactly? Did I miss something? Wes had some key runs, but none for TDs.

Who the hell cares dude?

Your team won the game. What does it matter what the fans of the other team thinks???

I agree with the other poster that your just being a troll by making a thread on this nonsense.
