If Miami does not come out and play great football with a sense of urgency, and comes out flat like most of us are afraid they are, then they don't deserve to go to the playoffs. I for one, am confident that Miami will come out swinging and even add a few wrinkles into he game plan. But if they come out flat, Joe "Little Queasy" Philbin's demeanor attributes to that in my opinion. I always thought the team plays based on the coaches attitude (in some cases, but for the most part). This game is pretty much our season.

LETS JUST BE GLAD THAT ROSS DIDN"T GIVE UP THIS HOME GAME TO PLAY THE BILLS AND PLAY IN LONDON RIGHT?! ....

The "don't deserve to go to the playoffs"...one of my favorite cliché posts on FH.

You really think on a short week they're going to be able to come out with a "few wrinkles"...but then Philbin is a crappy coach...lol...Oh..the irony.

It's quite possible they have been working on some new things for weeks and just not unveiled them yet. They could be waiting for a must win situation to spring them. Possible, but whatever they decide to do, it better be fast developing. The Bills are going to bring pressure early and often.

We need to win this game on defense. It's boring and nobody likes it but we should keep it close to the vest on offense and just try not to blow it. The biggest matchup advantage Buffalo has is it's D-line vs our O-line we need to somehow neutralize that somehow. I hope we don't take a "wait and see" approach like we usually do and just try to run our offense until we see Dallas Thomas and Shelley Smith getting destroyed up front. We have to proactively see that coming and give those guys help right away. I think that's why we get out to slow starts vs teams with good defensive lines, we waste quarter seeing if we can block them. This week we need to concede we cannot and provide help right away.

The Bills running game without Spiller shouldn't be an issue and if Watkins is gimpy that will help as well. We can't allow a back breaking kick/punt return like we have in like 2 of the last 5 Bills games.

This is a must win or the season isn't fun anymore. I'm not ready for that yet GO PHINS!

Short weeks are tough, but there tougher on the traveling team.

Won't be a blowout by any team.
The recent trend on Thurday Night football would suggest it will be a blowout by one team.

Week 1
Seahawks 36, Packers 16

Week 2
Ravens 26, Steelers 6

Week 3
Falcons 56, Bucs 14

Week 4
Giants 45, Redskins 14

Week 5
Packers 42, Vikings 10

Week 6
Colts 33, Texans 28 (This one wasn't as close as the score...it was 27-14 a the half)

Week 7
Patriots 27, Jets 25 (this one was close)

Week 8
Broncos 35, Chargers 21

Week 9
Saints 28, Panthers 10 (this one was ugly...Panthers O-line looks like ours did last year).

Week 10
Browns 24, Bengals 3

There's only been one close game so far.

Win or blow it up. Can't lose to Buffalo 4 times in a row.
Buffalo's had the most talent, top to bottom, in our division for a few years now. No roster in our division has more speed on offense and defense and more playmakers. That normally happens when your picking top 10 for a decade...they've never had a QB or a coach which is why they kept losing. Orton is the best QB they've had in a long time...still not sold on their coach though...but he sure as heck knows defense.

I'm really so sick and tired of hearing about how good Buffalo is. If they're so great, how do they manage to finish under 500 every single year?
Buffalo is a pretty good team. They play good defense, efficient offense, and they have a couple of playmakers like Watkins and Spiller (who is on IR) that you do need to account for. All in all, they are nothing special, they blow winnable games (see last Sunday) and their QB is absolutely nothing to write home about, even though he has played pretty well of late (mostly against BAD teams).
We have absolutely no excuse to lose 4 in a row to this team, especially not this big game at home with a potential playoff spot on the line. The last time I checked, we can rush the passer and play good defense as well. Go out there and stop the run, put Grimes on Watkins, beat the **** out of Orton, protect Tannehill and go win a ****ing big game! So sick of the excuses, if they don't show up tonight, I've really seen enough of Philbin. A loss here and they're probably headed for 8-8 again, at best.

Win or blow it up. I don't care how much talent they have on defense. Buffalo is a mediocre team and they've beaten us with garbage at the qb position time after time.

Exactly.

In all honesty.....this thread was pointless.

Pointless how? You do know what a thread is right? In case you didn't know(I'm sure you need a refresh) is where everyone has a right to discuss their opinions. So you saying that its pointless is just being a troll. I'm simply stating that if we come out flat there is no killer instinct with this team and it reflects on Philbin.

You're right. I'm wrong. You're the best. I'm the worst. You're smart. I'm dumb. You're goodlooking. I am not attractive.
