I have never been part of a season where so many fans have quit on the team only after 1 game. I see posts about "next year's draft", "next year's coach", "changes for next year", etc. I think it's pretty safe to say that Cardinal fans have more hope for their team this year than most of us.

I know, I know I sound like a homer. Yes, I do go into every year expecting a SB win but expecting our team to pack it in or not be good enough after week one is ridiculous. If that's the case, then half of the NFL should pack it in as well! We don't know what's going to happen but let's give it chance to play itself out before firing everyone!

I'm still on board! I feel we will win 10 games even with the tough schedule, we will right the ship!

I still think it will be a good season. I'm pretty confident that Fin's won't go very far, but that won't stop me from cheering them on, gonig to the Broncos game and even buying my HiDef receiver so I can watch the Finz in all their glory (or lack thereof). They could 0-16 for all I care, I'll still be there.

most of the dolphin fans on this board are predicting at least 8 wins. But i think we could do without speculation on next years coach, draft, lineup, etc. Personally, i give us 9 wins this year, and a shot at the wild card.

I have not given up and never will. I am actually very optimistic about this year. Excited that we are going to have a passing game that will most likely open up the run. I think we will surprise once it all comes together. Next year when Boston is back in the mix look out. I am freaking excited.

I have not given up, I just know that only a losing season will rid us of Wanny. 7-9 is my prediction. As long as they are in those loses and not blownout I can live with that for one year. Of course I hope I'm wrong. GO FINS!!!!

I've had a lot of friends come to me and say "what's up with the Finz this year?" The way I reply is that, in the past, I watched the games EXPECTING them to win and was really mad when they didn't. Now, I will be watching HOPING they win. I think the wins this year will be more satisfying knowing what they have to fight through to get the "W's"

I Think Wanny Is Going To Destroy This Team For Some Time , He Did It In Chicago And Now He's Doing It To Miami. He's Lost All Control Of This Team I Think The Fins Should Fire His A$$ Next Week . The Only Good Thing I See Comeing Out Of This Year Is Wanny Getting Fired At The End Of The Year And Pretty High Draft Pick Next Year ... Oh Well I Still Hope The Fins Suprise Everyone And Make The Playoffs And Go Far But Thats Just Me The Ultimate Fins Fan ...

I Bleed Aqua $ Orange Man !!!!

Thank you for telling it like it is. :) If the players have half the negativity that our fans do, we won't win a game this year.

Before someone jumps to call it "realism", realize that in order for you to consider it realism, then you would have to be saying that you know more than those players who think they still have a shot at the superbowl.

I don't know about this. He's obviously no Bill Parcels, but he can't control injuries, Ricky leaving to smoke ganja in Australia, Marino quitting after 1 week, 2 O.C.'s, etc... This has been a joke of an off-season and I don't think much (if any) of it was his fault. *Feeley issue not withstanding* Do we need a replacement at HC...sure, but not because he's lost total control of the team. What happened to the Fins could have happened to any team.

Last year the Patriots lost 31-0 to the Bills on opening day.

Things can turn around quickly. They need some confidence. A win this week would help.

Go Dolphins!

I'm not giving up. Giving up would turn me into one of fantasy football geeks who doesn't really have his heart in any single game but just sits around and cheers big plays for anyone on his fantasy team. Those guys SUCK.

If we can get 9 or 10 wins, playoffs or not, Wanny and Spielman are coming back.

Besides, Feeley is going to be here next year (even if it's just as a b/u) no matter who is running things and I'm rooting to see good, strong, steady improvement from him.

I am a fan of the Miami Dolphins. Every season, every game, every practice, every day. Wasting my time speculating on what they should do next year won't make it happen. Cheering successes and having your heart ripped out by failures is what fans do, and it's all we can do. Yeah, I'll opine with the best of them but it's not as if I actually think anyone cares.

I know some of you struggle with this concept, but, have you ever considered its possible to be a real fan and watch every game hoping for a win while at the same time realizing that your team is mismanaged and not going far?

Tgis

This is the one time of year when I look forward to Sunday, cheering with my friends, cooking out, having a great time. I'm not going to give up on the Miami Dolphins this year, and I hope the rest of you stay the course.

Did it ever occur to YOU that it is possible to recognize that while there are problems, there are also positives? Do you know all the intangibles? Can you know what a player is gonna do before he does it for FACT? I believ neg fans are fans, If you hope for the dolphins to win, that makes you a fan, If you wish for a win,but you believe we are gonna lose, that makes you a pessimist.
