First of all, the guys that are out there playing hurt (Parker, Albert, and Tunsil especially) should have all been taken out after the first drive of the third quarter. How pissed would we all be if Parker or Tunsil aggravated their injury in garbage time??

Secondly, I didn't expect a win today but I predicted more along the lines of a 20-16 loss. This was an absolutely atrocious defensive performance, another first quarter where we came out and just got our balls kicked in, and yet another mediocre December showing by Tannehill. I don't blame Tanny for this L at all but he certainly didn't step up and play well either. His December track record continues to be thoroughly underwhelming.

At the beginning of the season I didn't expect any better than 8-8 or 9-7, and I still think we'll do that, but it would have been real nice to be pleasantly surprised by this team late in the year. Oh well. I personally don't see the game in Buffalo going any better than this one but I guess 10-6 is still POSSIBLE.

We have to somehow find a way to address every defensive position this off season as well as finding another reliable guard and WR. Meh.

I expected a better performance, not a win. But I don't think you remove everyone from the game. For as bad as the Dolphins were supposed to be, this is a team that with a couple games left in 2013 and 2014 was in prime position for the playoffs before dramatically falling off. You need to try and build some confidence and something positive to build on even in a loss. Of course as I type this RT throws another terrible pick, so there goes that idea.

Tanny's head isn't in this game at all

Tannehill was bad today. Just all over the place with his accuracy and ball placement. A few bad breaks as well, but mostly just bad.

That doesn't even bother me, he had a stinker, every qb has one every now and then.

Gase will call him out I bet this week too.

It bothers me, because having a hot streak midseason and then bowing out once the team actually becomes relevant is a pattern with Tannehill. What he did today is nothing different than what happened in 2013 and 2014.

It bothers me with Philbin, but I'm willing to give this new Gase lead QB a chance.

After 5 years I am pretty sure we have seen Tannehills ceiling.

Ahahahahaha the rt17 trolls are back! All his bad play was after the game was lost. Yeah, he threw the ball behind Landry on that one play, yeah he took a bad sack on the next drive but he was sharp in the first half and got no help.

Frustrated in the second half he made some bad throws which is a problem that speaks to attitude and temperament ... [removed by staff]

Bow down to tannehill every week when he is good, don't dare criticize him when he is bad. [removed by staff]

Today was scary it had shades of zero awareness, shrinking rt. But, after a strain of good games before this, I'm expecting him to bounce back

Most of the reason why people dislike Tannehill is two years in a row they saw him crap the bed when a playoff spot was within reach. You may disagree with the assessment, but somebody who dislikes a player because they've historically disappeared when the playoffs were within reach are going to be concerned, critical, and worried when in the first game of the stretch run, with his team actually in possession of the 6th seed if they keep winning, the QB comes out and has his worst or second worst game of the season. Tannehill has shown tremendous progression, but until he gets his team over the hump he is always going to be the guy who can't get over the hump.

Going in this was one of those games where I felt Miami absolutely had to get off to a hot start. The fact that this team starts so slowly is a concern and especially tough against a team like Baltimore on the road.

Love the direction the team is headed, though. It's a flawed squad with a few glaring holes and yet here we are with a playoff chance. That says so much after a dismal 1-4 start where it seemed like the team needed a complete overhaul.

I'm not trolling at all. Tannehill was bad today and he hasn't been good late in the season for us. Am I wrong?

give him a break, he didn't play well but the Ravens d is much better than i gave them credit for...they confused the **** out of him

Obviously the defense is a concern. They are a sieve and looked like they were playing in a scrimmage today.
However, this offense does not do itself any favors by starting so slow. My fear before this game is that they would get bogged down against a good defense like in the Rams game. The difference is that I knew that Harbaugh is no Fisher and Flacco is no rookie.
Once they got down 14-0 I knew it was over. They were able to move the ball into Ravens territory, but couldn't finish drives.
RT simply isn't the type of QB to carry a team. He plays well when the team plays well. He's more Trent Dilfer than he is Aaron Rodgers. They can win with him, but they better invest HEAVILY on the defense in the offense (FA and draft).

He made bad throws, not because he was confused, but because they were bad throws.
