Those who cover the team daily have said that the locker room is still really close. Only issue is they need the leaders to step up.

Brent Grimes also called this one of the best locker rooms he was ever apart of.

Now will the locker room stay united? That remains to be seen, but the locker room is not in shambles currently as it was reported last week.

I was JUST telling my coworker that I'd like for a guy like Grimes to step up into a leadership role...

Good news nonetheless though. I hope this can fuel the players

I have said it before. Its up to Philbin to be the leader of men at this point and get them through it. I am just not 100% confident Philbin can.

Maybe this whole situation springs the team to a level we're not accustomed to. Who knows? I sure hope they go in a nice winning streak after this.

I'm not confident either in Philbin. That's why I think the players will take over and cut Philbin out to a certain degree. They are the guys on the field. Those are the guys who will decide wins and losses. Their careers are affected as well.

I hope they circle the wagons.

it sounds like everyone they interviewed liked Richie and really didn't care for martin(probably because of how he handled the situation or maybe he was just a not liked guy), I don't see them being divided by this

Good news, but from the interviews its kinda what was figured. Martin quit on the team, Cog was a leader who everybody liked. To the world it seems he overstepped his bounds, but the only thing that really matters for Sunday (and this Monday) is what goes on in that locker room.

Who's reporting the locker room is fine? Based on the players reactions it sounds as if the locker room is okay but I'm curious if these reports are local or national.

local guys. Abramson, Omar, Darlington (though technically not local anymore) only local guy who every said locker room was a mess was Beasley, and he even admitted that he overstated things.

Omar was on tv and said that the locker room is really close together and always has been.

I wonder where Wake, even Hartline have been in all this. Would be interesting to know.
