and his style of Defense. Look no further than the #1 Rated Defense(Top 10 in every statistical category also) in the nation in College Football LSU Tigers, and the lions share of those players were recruited and brought to LSU by Mr. Nick Saban. I believe in time hopefully sooner rather than later, when he gets the full complement of players that he wants, we will have a DEFENSE SECOND TO NONE IN THE NFL.
Lets hope the Offense will atleast be Effecient by then.

Our defense is already good. It's the offense(including the line, WRs who aren't catching this year) that suck. The D might be poor next year though if Zach and JT leave.

i have faith in what Coach nick is trying to do but what works in college ball doesn't always work in the NFL. That said... Nick knows what it takes to succeed at any level and I'm sure with enough time he'll have a solid team that will compete with the best. As for LSU having the #1 D....... you hafta give him some props.

I don't think anyone needs to defend him.

I think it's indicitive of truely numbskull fandom that takes place in alot of places, includeing here, that knights a coach king of he world one season, and, then, wants his head in week 5 the next.

I was honestly hopeing that people would at least give nick three years before they passed judgement, but, sadly, that is not the case.

He honestly, should go elsewhere and, go to a fan base that isn't a bunch of fickle chicken littles.

Should we run the table (off chance, I admit) and hit the playoffs he'll be a genius again, so, here's hopeing

i dont think it's saban's defensive scheme or even coaching abilities that people are or should be questioning. it's his "GM" abilities. they do not look good at this point.

exactly. year two's disaster is tied to free agency. I'm willing to give him a pass. sophmore slump, salary cap limitations, everyone makes mistakes, whatever the reason. year three however he really needs to bring some talent to this team

You said it as good as can be said.

Year three, and then, a decision.

I just want some improvement, a sign that we're moving forward. If we go 9-7 next year i'd be fine with that. I think we over achieved last year. He's got two yrs as far as im concerned.

Two years, it will take 2 years for Nick to right this ship. Wannspiel's mess is just too deep to turnaround any faster.

This is the end of the second year...(season wise) I see no improvement.

Wanny messed up this orginization for sure. But you can't keep blaming EVERYTHING that's happening now on him. How many Wanny players are left? Only the good ones or fairly good ones. Wanny could not select talent and his game preparation and lack of halftime ajustments sucked. Saban hasn't shown me good game preparation or halftime ajustments yet. I'm hoping he learns soon cause I want my team to win.

Just because he and Billicheck are friends, doesn't make him as good a coach as Bill. I truely hopes he becomes one next year. I don't want to suffer another season like this.

Shula and the older players have spoiled me and set this orginizations expectations high

JT isn't going anywhere. Thomas will be released or traded, Crowder will move inside and Miami will bring in a nice solid vet.

The O-Line is the key.

We had $6 million in cap room, and free agency sucked this past offseason. Who should we have signed with our meager cap room?
