He stated in players comments. It was run pass option and the coaches thought that Ronnie should have ran it in.

run pass option. I can live with that.

However I am still sick about the lack of carries brown had.

Yeah but why not just run the damn thing with your 230lb running back? Make a statement, don't be gimmicky....

Exactly. Houston didn't go with a gimmick play on the one yard line!!! Oh wait...

run, pass option? :shakeno: Don't give Ronnie two options.

Naked bootlegs aren't gimmicks...flea flickers, double reverses, hb run/passes are

You would've thought he was a genius and praised Saban as a god if they had made it.

Not me. I would have felt lucky that a stupid gadget play worked for a 2-point conversion.

I agree, naked bootlegs just feast on a defense's agression and over commitment. A naked bootleg is as much of a gimmick as play-action is.

it wasnt a bad play. if marty booker doesnt fall down he was wide open

If you have to rely on a 2 point conversion at the end of the game against the worst team in the NFL you haven't done your job. It doesn't matter who's fault it was at that point. Who's fault was it that we put ourselves in that position to start with? I certainly wouldn't blame Ronnie one bit.
